Coventry have been a poor team for some time, they’ll take a pounding in the Premier League.

Poor in the sense that they won eight out of nine and took their foot off the gas in the last three games now they're guaranteed to win the league. They're on the beach, next season will depend on how they recruit.

Really don't think Coventry have taken their foot off the gas. More likely anxiety as they got closer to the finish line

May well play with more freedom now. They'll want to be champions for a start

The Championship this season has been exciting in the sense of everyone has been shit at one point or another that it’s competitive.

There’s been no standout team, despite Coventry winning the league.

It’s been an incredible weak roster of teams, but that’s what’s kept it interesting.

Surprised that from next season, even the top franchise doesn't have look after it's roster going into post season. But they've just extended those play off slots, rather than having a proper race to a Wembleybowl final.

Congrats to Coventry. Hope we will be joining them.

Agreed, I’m pleased for them. As similar a club to Saints as you can get very badly mismanaged over the last 20 years. Good for them

I wonder if Lampard will turn out like another Scott Parker. Decent Championship manager but totally out of his depth at a higher level

He isn't new to Premier League management. He has manged 135 Premier League games.

This game was one of our main hopes for them to drop points, right?

Stoke away

Leicester away

Oxford home

Not inconceivable they drop points in at least one of those

Ok I thought people said their run in was easy? QPR in good form and Stoke away in particular are two tricky fixtures on paper.

The way it’s going Leicester and Oxford will already be down when they play them Stoke have nothing to play for so be surprised if they drop any points

17th and 9th place in the Championship are only separated by four points.

Quite embarrassing for Qpr to already be checked out. As a gaffer, I wouldn't want that on my CV for the sake of a few games. Could well lose your job for that sort of finish.

Anyone doubting that Millwall could win all 4 and finish 2nd have just had a wake up call.

I think they’ll get 2nd.

We could do with Oxford and Leicester getting results to keep them interested in staying up as Milwall have both of them to play.

Those two plus Stoke.

Quite a nice set of fixtures.

They will not roll over to have their tummy tickled - just not the Millwall way. Good manager as well.

If we don't get automatic, the other teams out of Boro, Ipswich and Millwall that also don't make 2nd will be feeling pretty grim at facing us in the playoffs.

I hope they go up. Millwall in the premier league would be brilliant. Really upset the premier league brand and all its wokeness

It’ll be fun that’s for sure. Had a few character building experiences at the old Den.

Whatever anyone says i doubt there are many fans of other clubs similar sized to them who wouldnt swap places with them.

Who was Choudhury in amongst?  Their own fans?

Also, if Rowett wasn't good enough for Oxford Utd how was he ever going to be good enough for Leicester?

Alex Neil has got the most out of his squad compared to Kieran Mckenna and his Ipswich squad.

I dont think many did. This league is always quite unpredictable. Remeber Brighton blowing the title i think 10 points ahead with 4 games to go 😅

More twists n turns to go and wont be straight forward for any team inc us.

Massive Sliding Doors moment for both clubs when Leicester were 3-0 up at home against us at half time only a few weeks ago.
