I just don't get it. In defence we are still playing Russball.....sideways and backwards most of the time, then when we DO get  forward, the ball is played out as wide as possible, with very little through the middle......thats it. Very little aggression or "will to win".....

We do seem to struggle to know what to do in attack. Then give the ball away for them to counter. Not sure what to make of the formation either. Almost like playing 3CBs but wonky. Will needs to earn his money and change this at half time.

Reading the thread it looks  like i might be on my own here but.........I didn't think we were that bad. Christ the shite ive seen us serve up the last few years is far worse than  this. My main gripe is that we're going sideways instead of forwards. We've got the players to hurt any team, they just need to show some bollocks. Oh and Quarshie got done far too easily.

He’s having to come deeper than Charles and Jander then trying to create something through their whole team or choose the sideways pass to make possession.
