SuperSAINT Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I wouldn’t trust SR to choose somebody to buy the club considering their recent hires. 1

LGTL Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Inevitable that he will go, if not now then in the summer. And we’ll replace him with someone marginally worse, and so the downward trajectory continues. Incredible to think we were a PL club just last season. We’ve become a struggling Championship non-entity in record time. 1

Baird of the land Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Find this whole 8 figures stuff annoying. Either give some sort of figure or don’t bother at all. 4

Ironic thing Manny is that Ankerson is trying to play Tony Bloom and Matthew Benham at their own games, Solak has similar net worth to those two but with Brighton/Hearts especially, Rasmus is getting pissed over completely and shown up as a fraud. Solak could afford it but rather than cut the Ankersons loose he has no backbone. Go on Solak, do what do you promised, you aren’t doing us any good. 1
sambosa75 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Sell THB for £30m and bring Lascelles in on a free from Newcastle who have said he can leave for nothing. Been their club captain last 10 years. Might provide the leadership we desperately need. 2 1
goodymatt Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I wonder what our valuation actually is. He’s not improved at all since we spent £20m on him (could argue he’s regressed?) but it is a January window.
obelisk Posted 57 minutes ago Posted 57 minutes ago What makes Saints think that Derby and Millwall are Championship rivals? We're not even close to them - except in our dreams. 2

Willo of Whiteley Posted 23 minutes ago Posted 23 minutes ago Saints won’t sell for less than £20M. They’ll be looking to recoup the money paid for him. It’ll be interesting to see if he’s in the squad today, somehow I doubt it. Equally he strikes me as one of those guys that wants to play. Unless the money is stupid I don’t see Adam Armstrong or Taylor Harwood-Bellis leaving. Joe Aribo can go. Sam Edozie is an interesting one. The fact we’re content to see but won’t sell him to a league rival implies we don’t want him to go but he does. Maybe that’s answered why he’s not been in the squad all season. Maybe a disruptive influence? Maybe a bad apple? Then again if I’d been loaned out after helping the club gain promotion and then replaced with Ben Brereton-Diaz I’d be pretty fucked off too. 1

Gloucester Saint Posted 16 minutes ago Posted 16 minutes ago Bizarre situation with Edozie - I have some sympathy on paper with the player. Aribo was allegedly on £60-70k a week in the Prem, so cut that by 40% and it’s still far more than he’s worth. Disgraceful that he’s that unfit and he clearly wants to go on a free to Saudi. I’d have ripped up his contract long before now. THB - West Ham are taking the piss and know SR won’t accept less than they paid. AA - if he’s sold I can live with it but goodness knows what junk SR would bring in as a replacement.

AA - if he’s sold I can live with it but goodness knows what junk SR would bring in as a replacement. Edozie had just come good when he got whacked. Then Martin brought in Brooks and he never got a look in. Then we brought in BBD and he was shipped out on loan as we put together one of the worst teams in Premier League history. If I was the player I'd be out of the door the first chance I got. Cannot understand why Aribo got any minutes at all this year. Selling THB to West Ham is likely to be selling a player to a rival Championship team next season. Well, assuming we don't get Ramussed back into League One this year.
