Harsh on Peretz I think. To me, the first shot seems to take a slight deflection that sets the ball bouncing. Peretz had it covered if it stayed on the ground but as he reaches it, it bounces up so goes over his hand instead of round the post. My first thought was he should do better but one of the replays really shows that he was unlucky with the deflection.

The second, completely justified to come out and offer an out ball. The replay from behind Peretz shows him moving into a position to receive the ball and get it up the field, was just the underhit pass to him that left him stranded. Love that he joined in the celebrations at the other end of the pitch as well. Seems to have integrated exceptionally well.

It was a miracle. On teletext Saints went straight from 3-1 down, way after finishing time to 4-3 final score.  Why was I looking at teletext? At half time I'd  had enough , I hated Saints, I hated football, I hated how I felt about football so I decided to watch BBC 4 instead and stop looking at my phone. But there's always teletext and I couldn't resist a quick peak every now and again. Apparently they had problems and I was beginning to wonder why none of the matches were finishing. So after them winning the league and  finding Richard 3rd this was the third miracle of Leicester.

The only disappointment (other than the shitf-est on the first half) was that it was witnessed by probably our worst away following (in terms of numbers) for years.

I say as an armchair fan...

Its odd but at half time I usually think its all over. but I just had a nagging feeling we might get a draw. 

I feel most sorry for the away fans who travelled and left at half time, how gutting that would be to actually take the time to get there and then miss what is probably one of the best days of their supporting lives!!!!!!

Do you think we should have been praising the coach and players in the first half? Most of us judge what we are seeing and comment accordingly. You may wear red and white tinted glasses that allow you to smugly take the higher moral ground and I have no issue with that but no need to sneer at others.

Stewart changed the game. His presence brought Azaz into the game so much more, and when Charles came on to put Jander out of his misery it was too much for them. Great 2nd half from everybody, amazing finish from Shea.

One of my lads was sat next to me calm as anything throughout the game. Kept saying it's fine, it's the 10th of Feb - apparently that's the date we did the comeback against 5-3 Huddersfield a couple of years back. The fact it's Leicester just makes it even sweeter.

He was immense. A goal plus two assists. What a great shame injuries have meant we've hardly been able to enjoy such a gifted footballer. His deft finish today was a sublime touch as was the calm way he perfectly set up Charles for the winner - and what a goal that was by the way, top drawer to curl that in at such a crucial time.

Agree - but I think we got him on the cheap from what he should have cost because he was injured badly when we signed him. When he is fit, he#s excellent.

Leicester football club and their fans must feel like they've just had their 6 point deduction extended to 9 after last night's second half. They'd have virtually banked the 3 points at half time with a 3-0 lead 🙂

Was so busy I couldn't even check the scores till after 10.30ish, should do that more often! One for the ages that, I do remember the 4-5 Vs Norwich which was crucial for survival that year but we were never 3-0 down.

I think I read an article when we had Still that he said contract negotiations were ongoing. It does need to be sorted by the end of the season though if possible or I think he'll be gone in a summer where we will already need a hefty rebuild, whatever League we're in.

To be fair, that's how I feel about Saints, apart from 4-0! When we got 5 against Charlton earlier in the season I was very comfortable. We should do that more often. 😄

Well last night was great but I hope the club will draw a Nigel Adkins red line under it now and concentrate on the next game. I know it is only a cup game but we need to keep momentum.

I have just had a quick look at the table and upcoming fixtures and I think we could be back in 15th place by the time we play again.

Exactly. I think after the Tranmere and Leeds experiences, not to mention the Boro, Everton and Villa games in the 2004/5 season, none of us relax until the final whistle.

Not really worried about the league table at the moment. What matters is confidence, form and as you say, momentum. The cup game will be tricky as it will be a makeshift side we put out and that often works out badly. Leicester have their own problems though, so they might do the same. It could be a really ugly game.

Yes, think we will make quite a few changes after the 2 league games in quick succession. I'll be surprised if we see Stewart for more than a few mins towards the end if at all given that he is becoming more important to us in the league and will continue to be treated with kid gloves to try to avoid another injury. Scienza, Azaz, Downes all quite likely to be rested too as they all played the full 90+ mins last night. Hopefully Larin may be able to play for longer though and hopefully get a first start? Edozie should also get a start.

Can't stop watching various different highlights. I'm enjoying the footage of the goals from the Leicester end the most where you can see the Saints players going mental, especially Peretz full sprint down the pitch.

I stuck a fiver on the draw at HT and cashed out at 3-3, then put another £5 on us to win. 

Not only did I watch the greatest comeback victory in the club's history, I ended the night about £120 up as well 😁
