SNSUN Posted yesterday at 19:48 Posted yesterday at 19:48 Started well, then soaked up some pressure, then scored and looked the better team. Half time. 45 minutes for Peretz to keep a clean sheet. 45 minutes to Wembley.
AlexLaw76 Posted yesterday at 19:48 Posted yesterday at 19:48 Never thought that going direct would trouble Arsenal. brilliant so far 1
Turkish Posted yesterday at 19:49 Posted yesterday at 19:49 Bloody hell great first half. Defended well and look really dangerous going forward. Arsenal will improve, tactics been great from Tonda. Finally a manager who adapts! 3
Saint_clark Posted yesterday at 19:49 Posted yesterday at 19:49 Worrying thing for me is the only option to take Manning off would be going three at the back 🤦🏼♂️
Suhari Posted yesterday at 19:50 Posted yesterday at 19:50 Proper cup tie. Interesting seeing an EPL defence so uncomfortable with direct balls. Ross is doing well. Would be fun to see Larin up top... he'd scare the fuck out of the CBs!
Baird of the land Posted yesterday at 19:50 Posted yesterday at 19:50 Shame there’s no Welington on the bench to replace booked manning. 5
washsaint Posted yesterday at 19:50 Posted yesterday at 19:50 I fuckin' love this new Saints. SO proud of that first half display - absolutely brilliant and, but for some poor touches, we could have been 2 up. Tonda - we have to keep him. What he has done with this squad is remarkable and I have real confidence if Saints go up his season we would actually do well in the Prem (as in, not in a relegation battle). Long way to go but what a brilliant first half and every player played their heart out. No matter hwat happens in the 2nd half at last we have a team we can be proud of again. 6
egg Posted yesterday at 19:51 Posted yesterday at 19:51 Just now, AlexLaw76 said: Never thought that going direct would trouble Arsenal. brilliant so far Agreed. Although the goal came from Leo not staying high and drifting back to steal the ball, then Bree getting forward. The players look really well drilled and know exactly why they're doing. 2

Saint NL Posted yesterday at 19:51 Posted yesterday at 19:51 Seeing Theo Walcott with grey hair certainly makes me feel old
Miltonaggro Posted yesterday at 19:51 Posted yesterday at 19:51 Walcott face like a smacked arse and according to the fat Man City dipshit Arsenal are having a horrific off night. To me, we are just working flat out and using the tools we have. 4
Saint Scott Posted yesterday at 19:52 Posted yesterday at 19:52 Solid first half, shame scienza blew his chance as a 2-0 cushion would of been great. A long way to go, but feels much more reassuring with Peretz in goal
SaintNate Posted yesterday at 19:52 Posted yesterday at 19:52 It's getting to the point where we need to enjoy Tonda while he's here. Brilliant half. Keep it up Saints!
Hoggins Posted yesterday at 19:52 Posted yesterday at 19:52 Russ would have a heart attack watching this direct, intensity, commitment, bravery - love it 9

Convict Colony Posted yesterday at 19:53 Posted yesterday at 19:53 Fucking walcott making excuses for all arsenal
Colinjb Posted yesterday at 19:53 Posted yesterday at 19:53 Nice to be proud of the team. We are so much better then the side we had two years ago. Lets see if we really have grown in how we cope in the second half. The Saints of old would just fade from this position. 1
Holmes_and_Watson Posted yesterday at 19:53 Posted yesterday at 19:53 Tonda tactical triumph! Lovely finish by Stewart. But shout to Leo, who held it back, until there were enough bodies to launch that attack. Leo caused them problems, with 2 shots I thought he should have attempted. But, credit to his all round game, which has been excellent. By getting it long, we're combining our comfort at the back, with having some height in Stewart and Azaz up top. It also givescus some breathing space, when we need it. It could be a long second half. But can't have asked for much more than that in the first 45. COY...Y! 3
SNSUN Posted yesterday at 19:53 Posted yesterday at 19:53 Arsenal about to bring on their next Academy prospect... Ok that's enough ChatGPT for today.
adrian lord Posted yesterday at 19:54 Posted yesterday at 19:54 Walcott referring to Arsenal as 'we'.
sockeye Posted yesterday at 19:54 Posted yesterday at 19:54 Lovely atmosphere at the ground today! I don’t get the opportunity to visit St. Marys often so days like today are a treat! Great goal although Arsenal haven’t been at the races at all. Hope we can get a second and finish the job!

Obstacle1 Posted yesterday at 19:56 Posted yesterday at 19:56 Stewarts been great, great hold up play aside from the goal. Martinelli is the poundshop Scienza 3
PerthshireSaint Posted yesterday at 19:56 Posted yesterday at 19:56 After last season, I’m just so proud of them tonight. Whatever happens. 4

6ft8saint Posted yesterday at 19:57 Posted yesterday at 19:57 I think arsenal's white is gonna cry soon. I see same old arsenal always cheating. Watching Saints in cyprus is a good thing too. COYS!!!!
pingpong Posted yesterday at 19:57 Posted yesterday at 19:57 Giving them lots of space on the right where they have the over rated youngster - I'm more worried about martinelli on the left - given a clear set of heels a couple of times. One good thing is that when bragg cramps up we've got Charles on the bench to come on and show some of his class without losing too much. Just need wood and peretz to stay clean - a couple of shaky moments first half. 2
Polaroid Saint Posted yesterday at 19:57 Posted yesterday at 19:57 Stick Romeu on for Manning. I don't care it's not his position or his pace as gone. Let's see how 'fearless' that Dowman lad really is. 😉 6

SNSUN Posted yesterday at 19:58 Posted yesterday at 19:58 Manning is definitely the worry second half. No real replacement unless we put Quarshie out there. No injuries please! A nice one nil win and no injuries. Lovely.
Galway saint Posted yesterday at 19:58 Posted yesterday at 19:58 Stewart doing a very good impression of klaus augenthaler
