I fuckin' love this new Saints.  SO proud of that first half display - absolutely brilliant and, but for some poor touches, we could have been 2 up.

Tonda - we have to keep him.  What he has done with this squad is remarkable and I have real confidence if Saints go up his season we would actually do well in the Prem (as in, not in a relegation battle).

Long way to go but what a brilliant first half and every player played their heart out.

No matter hwat happens in the 2nd half at last we have a team we can be proud of again.

Agreed. Although the goal came from Leo not staying high and drifting back to steal the ball, then Bree getting forward. 

The players look really well drilled and know exactly why they're doing.

Lovely finish by Stewart. But shout to Leo, who held it back, until there were enough bodies to launch that attack. 

Leo caused them problems, with 2 shots I thought he should have attempted. But, credit to his all round game, which has been excellent.

By getting it long, we're combining our comfort at the back, with having some height in Stewart and Azaz up top. It also givescus some breathing space, when we need it.

It could be a long second half. But can't have asked for much more than that in the first 45.

Giving them lots of space on the right where they have the over rated youngster - I'm more worried about martinelli on the left - given a clear set of heels a couple of times.

One good thing is that when bragg cramps up we've got Charles on the bench to come on and show some of his class without losing too much.

Just need wood and peretz to stay clean - a couple of shaky moments first half.
