Saint_clark Posted yesterday at 18:13 Posted yesterday at 18:13 Cheating cunts. Can't complain about Saints at all. 3
Saint Scott Posted yesterday at 18:13 Posted yesterday at 18:13 Every player with an incredible effort today, desperately unlucky. Jander was the best player on the park today 15
sfc4prem Posted yesterday at 18:14 Posted yesterday at 18:14 Was not expecting that today. What an absolutely brilliant performance today. Proud saint over here. 6
BotleySaint Posted yesterday at 18:14 Posted yesterday at 18:14 Great effort. Everyone gave their all. City resorting to time wasting tactics. 1
Lighthouse Posted yesterday at 18:14 Posted yesterday at 18:14 Just now, James said: Nice assist from Pawson there to get them over the line. Bell end. It wasn’t a free kick. Leo was looking for that all day long. 2
Saint_clark Posted yesterday at 18:14 Posted yesterday at 18:14 All you can hear is Saints fans, City end is 3/4 empty already 😂
Saint NL Posted yesterday at 18:15 Posted yesterday at 18:15 Man city celebrating but all you can hear is OWTS. 1
sfc4prem Posted yesterday at 18:15 Posted yesterday at 18:15 Just now, Saint NL said: Man city celebrating but all you can hear is OWTS. So good 1
obelisk Posted yesterday at 18:15 Posted yesterday at 18:15 Took a big deflection and a worldie. Saints gave 'em a game. 8
James Posted yesterday at 18:16 Posted yesterday at 18:16 1 minute ago, Lighthouse said: It wasn’t a free kick. Leo was looking for that all day long. More meant blowing up bang on 97 and not adding on anything for the city dicking around time wasting. 5
BotleySaint Posted yesterday at 18:16 Posted yesterday at 18:16 If only we could have hung on a few more mins after Azaz goal. Just couldn't weather the storm.
SaintsRoyalty Posted yesterday at 18:16 Posted yesterday at 18:16 Great game of football and the players and Tonda can keep their heads high but think Tonda shit the bed playing Fellows. The guy has 0 goals in 43 games of football this season. Matsuki should have been playing instead in the front 3. Jelert should have come on for Wellington. We need to play the form players in the last few games if we are going to go up. 1 12 1 1
Saint_clark Posted yesterday at 18:16 Posted yesterday at 18:16 Have to say it I think Larin should have started. Didn't have enough time to properly get involved in the game.
East Kent Saint Posted yesterday at 18:17 Posted yesterday at 18:17 Jander another great performance for Saints today , can't fault any Saints players today they were brilliant 👏 6
Lee On Solent Saint Posted yesterday at 18:17 Posted yesterday at 18:17 Proud. Nothing more to say. 5
MB Posted yesterday at 18:17 Posted yesterday at 18:17 We’ve got our Southampton back. Bursting with pride. 8
Challenger Posted yesterday at 18:17 Posted yesterday at 18:17 (edited) Didn't get disgraced Didn't get mullered Didn't get conned by the officials Still in with a chance of being a successful season. Edited 20 hours ago by Challenger 7
badgerx16 Posted yesterday at 18:17 Posted yesterday at 18:17 Oh well, just the 2 trips to Wembley then. 3

Saint_clark Posted yesterday at 18:18 Posted yesterday at 18:18 Only major criticism is that we should never have let Doku cut in, ever ever. 1 2
LGTL Posted yesterday at 18:20 Posted yesterday at 18:20 Saints were fantastic. Played the only way we could have against them. Fucking deflected goal and an absolute bullet. Soul destroying. 2

SaintsBarry74 Posted yesterday at 18:20 Posted yesterday at 18:20 After years of constant humiliation we’ve finally gotten our Saints back. Proud of the boys! Now lets go secure that promotion ! 6

saintant Posted yesterday at 18:21 Posted yesterday at 18:21 Could not be prouder of Tonda and these boys. We scored a fantastic goal and dared to dream but it was not to be. To be beaten by a deflection and a worldie is certainly far from a disgrace. To a man we fought with everything we had and gave them a scare. Doku made the difference. Well played boys and thanks for such a brilliant effort. A word for our defence which put their bodies on the line and tackled, husteld and blocked. Oh and Caspar Jander, take a bow son, what an unbelievable performance - my man of the match today. 3
LiberalCommunist Posted yesterday at 18:21 Posted yesterday at 18:21 No shame in that. Now recuperate. Dust ourselves down and get ready for the Tuesday cup final. Should be going into that game with our tails up up up. 1

sadoldgit Posted yesterday at 18:22 Posted yesterday at 18:22 Beaten by a worldie, no shame in that. There is a gulf in quality between the teams though. We have not disgrace ourselves though against a team who cost gazillions more than ours. 2
do i not like fizzy pop Posted yesterday at 18:22 Posted yesterday at 18:22 Brilliant goal from Azaz..beaten by a worldie Great effort from the lads. Pep had to bring on the big guns and only equalised through a fortunate equaliser. Let's go on and smash Ipswich 4
saintant Posted yesterday at 18:23 Posted yesterday at 18:23 Just now, Convict Colony said: yeah fellows has been utter shit which is weird cos he wasn't last season etc so not sure why he cuts in like arejn robben but shoots like Stevie wonder Harsh to criticise a single player today as they all gave everything they had against better players. 5
Harry_SFC Posted yesterday at 18:23 Posted yesterday at 18:23 No way can anyone moan about that today. Lads did everyone proud. Brilliant effort. 7
Cabrone Posted yesterday at 18:25 Posted yesterday at 18:25 Pushed arguably the best team in the country all the way and scored a fantastic goal in the process. We were brilliant today and gave Citeh a better game than probably most prem teams have done all season. Let's beat Ipswich now and take it to the last game. 3
RedArmy Posted yesterday at 18:25 Posted yesterday at 18:25 Proud of every single one of them. Heartbreaking but that Azaz goal and celebrations will live long in the memory. Back in 4 weeks to be on the winning side. 3

coalman Posted yesterday at 18:28 Posted yesterday at 18:28 We showed up to give them a game today and did so. Can't complain about that and the effort and teamwork was there for all to see.
saint francis Posted yesterday at 18:28 Posted yesterday at 18:28 Beaten by a deflection and a worldie. Our goal was more impressive. Never satisfied with a loss but the players and manager can come away from this with positives rather than negatives. 5
ButtikonSaint Posted yesterday at 18:28 Posted yesterday at 18:28 So close, heartbreaking. Totally proud of the team and supporters. Now let's get that promotion. UTS! 2

pimpin4rizeal Posted yesterday at 18:29 Posted yesterday at 18:29 Fantastic effort gutted for azaz deserved to take us through with that class strike .second half we tended to get pinned in which we didn’t do in the first half or vs arsenal so couldn’t get on the counter .both city goals feel like they shouldn’t have happened big deflection for first and second due to no one closing down
Saint_clark Posted yesterday at 18:31 Posted yesterday at 18:31 2 minutes ago, benjii said: Weird. Not really, considering we conceded the equaliser from him cutting inside. We should have been cutting off the inside run and showing him outside every time - let him cross it all he wants. 2
Polaroid Saint Posted yesterday at 18:32 Posted yesterday at 18:32 Bloody 'City' ending our unbeaten run again! Hurmph 😉 Seriously though, a more than decent showing today by everyone and should actually give us a boost for the run-in/playoffs. It's so genuinely amazing to be proud of our team again, (even when we lose).

Nothing is stopping that. Thought Peretz was immense today in everything he did. 1
karlb79 Posted yesterday at 18:34 Posted yesterday at 18:34 Hats (or boots?) off to Wellington. Coming into the side cold from very few minutes in the last few games, to put in a performance like that, absolutely brilliant. 6

He is one of the best wingers in the Premier League/World. Tired legs and minds at that stage, let's not criticise because we left nothing out there. We cannot defend perfectly against players like Doku - he's a match winner. 7
