SNSUN Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Not a good start but we still have plenty of time to grow. Time to grow like a beautiful, evergreen bush. 1
Saint_clark Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Can we discuss PLAYER OF THE SEASON HAYDEN HACKNEY some more please. 4
Mr X Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Just now, Osvaldorama said: Commentary is a boro love-in Would you expect anything else?
Miltonaggro Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Just now, Osvaldorama said: Commentary is a boro love-in wank fest all day.
Disco Stu Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Just now, RedArmy said: We’re sitting deep, there’s nobody to lay the ball off to if you can’t hold the ball up and allow them to get up the pitch. Exactly. I think Stewart is better at holding the ball up and then bringing others into play.
saintant Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Everything far too easy for Boro. We are neither marking nor pressing and picking up no second ball. Need to start playing. 1
adrian lord Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Our tactics are designed to frustrate them. Slow down the game. 2 leg endurance test.
Mr X Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Don't get why we didn't start with some intensity I get that it's a 90 minute game but jesus we look lethargic!
Willo of Whiteley Posted May 9 Posted May 9 1 minute ago, Osvaldorama said: Commentary is a boro love-in It’s going to be all play offs now. We’re dirty cheats. The media have already sentenced us.

When it's played into feet and there are players around him yes. But that's not what we're doing. Larin is better when it comes to using his physicality to disrupt defenders and win it in the air. 1
Saint NL Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Boro will run out of steam any minute now, then we can start to play

steve green Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Just now, Saint_clark said: Can we discuss PLAYER OF THE SEASON HAYDEN HACKNEY some more please. You mean the chap playing absolutely no part in this game 🤔
Micky Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Nothing in midfield and nothing up front, hoofing it to Larin is getting us nowhere.
Saint_clark Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Just now, Saint NL said: Boro will run out of steam any minute now, then we can start to play The energy of the crowd has already died down.
RedArmy Posted May 9 Posted May 9 2 minutes ago, Osvaldorama said: Commentary is a boro love-in We haven’t really done anything for them to talk about yet to be fair.
Mr X Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Just now, RedArmy said: We haven’t really done anything for them to talk about yet to be fair. We've been poor nothing else you can say!
Saint_clark Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Just now, steve green said: You mean the chap playing absolutely no part in this game 🤔 Yes, but the thing about PLAYER OF THE SEASON HAYDEN HACKNEY is that you can feel his influence on the pitch even when he isn't on it. 4
Holmes_and_Watson Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Having to soak up a fair bit of pressure, which the home support are right behind. It's giving them all the momentum. We're sticking to a plan, but we're better than having to do this.
Miltonaggro Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Going to be so sweet when Larin scores on the counter in a bit. 1
Mr X Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Risky tactics if we've been told to just weather the storm! Haven't showed anything
Lighthouse Posted May 9 Posted May 9 1 minute ago, Suhari said: Worst we've looked in ages. Disagree, we’ve been off it for a few weeks now. Poor for large parts of the Bristol game and were the worse team at home to Ipswich.
saintant Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Just now, AlexLaw76 said: They are miles better than than us, so far No doubt about that.
obelisk Posted May 9 Posted May 9 If Saints get to half time without conceding that'll be a huge bonus. Just not in this game at all at the moment.
Miltonaggro Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Fellows lightweight and needs to stop the defensive midfield cameos.
Saint86 Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Boro clearly won the mind games this week. We look well off it. Wood is an absolute liability like this. Fellows poor as well, Larin wilting up front.

so22saint Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Ref and commentators definitely want a Boro win here. We are clearly trying to take a low score back to St Marys and looking slow
Harry_SFC Posted May 9 Posted May 9 1 minute ago, saintant said: Fellows is having a mare. All said and done he's been a really poor signing so far. Matsuki miles clear.
Saint_clark Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Bless them booing the fans singing OWTS like they're the Pompey of the north. 1
Big M Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Bloody awful, wood, Manning, fellows get a grip. What's with Larin falling over constantly. 🙄🙄
saintant Posted May 9 Posted May 9 We need to move 20 yards up the pitch or it's going to be all long ball. 1
