Willo of Whiteley Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Out the play-offs then. I’s be pretty confident Tonda Eckhart is involved. Anyone involved in this scandal needs to be gone, regardless of position or achievements. A whole summer of change is on the cards. May as well get the new manager thread started. 3 1
Hatch Posted May 19 Posted May 19 What about that bloke at Middlesboro, he's got them into the play off final 1 9
Willo of Whiteley Posted May 19 Author Posted May 19 SR would have to pay out to entice anyone here now.
AlexLaw76 Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Whoever Sports Republic appoint, it will only be until end Nov anyway.
Pamplemousse Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Scott Parker the obvious choice given his promotion record. 3

Completely agree, anyone who knew this was going on must be sacked for gross misconduct so no payoff. As a club it has been an absolute embarrassment. Not the fans fault, nor the players fault, just gross incompetence at management levels. I cannot believe this has happened. Explaining to my lad why we are now NOT going to Wembley has been difficult. Thanks Sports Replublic, you have ruined our and thousands of other pre-planned weekends. Incompetent, amateurish idiots. Solak must sack all those responsible to clear the decks. Edited May 19 by vectraman 3 2
Saint Gifford Posted May 19 Posted May 19 It can’t be the Kermit Ben Gardner. Second in charge or coach yes. Manager absolutely not, yes I have seen the complete collapse of a club in his hands. matbe that’s the culture of every club now, even before Leeds. We have so say been unlucky to be caught like Leeds.
trousers Posted May 19 Posted May 19 This calls for one man.... He'd bring some respect back to the club.... 9

Willo of Whiteley Posted May 19 Author Posted May 19 Beg Scott Parker. Proved it, and seemingly doesn’t cheat.
USaintA Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Carlos Kaiser would be my pick. Notorious con artist, he's perfect for Sports Republic.

SNSUN Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Pep managed a club that evaded punishment for years. Perfect. 😁 Seriously though it's too early to even name a manager I'd want right now. Sort the ownership situation out first. 1

Russell Martin isn’t coming back. You need to move on. Heartbreak happens to all of us but you need closure. Delete the love letters, the videos, the photos you have, it’ll help the healing process. 1

Although he boasts a pretty good record against Sean Dyche at least. 2
Saint86 Posted May 19 Posted May 19 (edited) As much as I don't want it to be, I think Eckert's position is likely terminal. Parker, rohl, Ralph, challinor, skubala are the most obvious names to link to it. Wonder if we could get Frank... Something like that might settle the dressing room at least. Think we're probably screwed regardless tonight. Edited May 19 by Saint86 1
SNSUN Posted May 19 Posted May 19 We need to rebuild our reputation, as does Liam Rosenior. Just saying. 3

Willo of Whiteley Posted May 19 Author Posted May 19 Whoever we get the club are going to have to pay top dollar for. Too managers generally attract top players. If we want to be serious about going up next season we have to pay for it. Significantly more now, if only they had done it a year ago when we all said it… SR masterclass. 1
Saint_clark Posted May 19 Posted May 19 (edited) I don't fucking care anymore. Get Adkins back and maybe I'll care again. Edited May 19 by Saint_clark
Fabrice29 Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Given our only football advisor left in a week or so could be MLT I’d be looking at that Saints legends team for clues personally.

MLT is an absolute fanny. Now he’s got this bullshit role with the club he’s going to tow the club political line. 1 1

die Mannyschaft Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Can't see anyone with more than leque 1 or midfielder Europe team. Won't be any money after fire sale. Saints were extremely bad 1st half season so combine a mostly new or bodged up 15 squad from what's left with a data analyst maybe mid table at very best. Saints have completely fucked up the club.
Patrick Bateman Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Wonder if Hassenhutl is free ... I'm joking, wouldn't wish this upon him. 2
sockeye Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Rooney is available. Anyone fancy a date with Plymouth, Wigan and Leyton Orient? 1
