I'm aware. My question which you ignored earlier is in what way the breach from Tonda is different to the breach from Bielsa which would result in a much greater punishment than a warning?

He already has had dealings with the FA when he was at Barnsley

Lets face it he has been a very naughty boy

For all the haters out there, things change… Chelsea took centre stage with their punishment, we will hear imminently

choose what you what to believe I really don’t care! My track record has been pretty much on the money

Fingers crossed.

Sorry for saying you had massive balls. Peer pressure.

I know someone who knows people in the club and the message I got from him was that no one in the club is expecting a substantial ban. I know that doesn't mean much given the club never expected our previous punishment but maybe slightly reassuring.

Thank god the FA came down on Chelsea like a ton of bricks. That suspended transfer ban is really going to hurt. Not to mention advocating for no sporting sanction whatsoever. Otherwise they might decide to make an example out of Eckert to show they take things seriously.

Yep. Years back I got regular info, as I  know tyou did. Posting the occasional bits up got shitty responses so I stopped bothering. I love a good bit of itk stuff, but we all know that things change, that the source has misunderstood, etc, but it's a sad state of affairs when people rip into others for passing on what they've heard.

I’ve never had a problem with people posting the rumours/info they have picked up. Some of it will be rubbish or a wind up but that is the price you pay for the genuine info.

It all got a bit silly here though with the unfathomable cryptic clues. If you have something to say, just say it, don’t play childish games. Then we had the whole crazy thing when it became even more infantile with the whole we know something you don’t know posts from some in the CoT clique.

There was a big ITK battle between two posters on another site which was like being back in the school playground with both belittling the other and trying to outdo each other. It ended with one of them being kicked off the forum.

Some people need to grow up.

Will be interesting to see if he is at fans forum on Thursday if we know anything by then of course.

The fact they've publicly said he will be suggests to me that either they expect news (maybe already know?) early next week or he's requested a hearing which is scheduled after that.

I believe MB has some strong ITK credentials, make of that what you will.

Also, if you don't believe him simply ignore him or put him on ignore....

Think they have the verdict in tbh so not a long ban

That is what I believe. The fact he is still here and confirmed attendance at the Fans Forum, reckon it is something that the club can get on with.

Is the public hanging of Tonda today or next Saturday?

I expect a crowd turnout similar to the unveiling of the second Ted Bates statue.

That was something else. A certain group of fans were in a religious style form of mass psychosis.

Don’t shoot the messenger but I’ve heard St Chalet has got some close contacts to ITKs that’d help him identify them.

Master Bates. I mean it might just have been the coincidence of the century that he got called out for pretending to be ITK on there and suddenly a new ITK profile came about called MB. Anyway, I'll lighten up. My bad for gently pointing out that he's not quite as bang on as he self proclaimed. I'll just believe it was announced yesterday again. Apologies all.

My understanding is the club are aware of said punishment but are considering options for appeal. Its not as harsh though as people fear. All I really know.

I reckon 6-8 games ban, with another 3-6 suspended.

If so, have to wonder if the appeal (given the previous experience and outcome) is solely with hope or expectation of it being reduced. Or buy some time to secure or arrange a temporary stand in.

I think it's fairly obvious the club know the punishment.

What gives you that confidence?

i would suggest if it’s not as harsh as we think we just get on with it. In the grand scheme of things it’s a nothing offence we’re best off just taking it on the chin unless they’ve really taken the piss and draw a line on it as the most ridiculous period in our history, for many reasons, and crack on with this season

Or just appeal it like Chelsea and get it suspended.

Yep. We don't need any more distractions. If the penalty is draconian, appeal, if not accept it, draw a line, and build.

I think more than six games and we should be appealing.

This is great news if true. I assume it means Tonda stays as manager which is the main thing.

Wonder if he’ll be allowed to be in the stands for matches. Might that not raise a concern of him influencing things from a distance ?

Await the allegations of how he has instructed the substitutions or tactics by WhatsApp or whatever and another drawn out investigation into breaching the spirit of the ban. Probably orchestrated from a journalist on Teeside.

At least that suggests it's just a touchline ban.

Which makes no sense because he didn’t cheat on the touchline. It’s a token ban and might as well not bother at all.

Hopefully we can appeal it to a suspended touchline ban, or severely reduce the number of games.

Correct, a touchline ban or even a stadium ban is not an appropriate punishment, but hell if that's what it is snap their hand off.

I mentioned in the pre-season thread maybe they were practicing for this eventuality. Very important to note that the manager is still allowed to communicate with the bench either via radio or phone in such an event of a touchline ban, so Tonda would still be managing the side in real time.

I may be jumping to conclusions but we were certainly better second half, better tempo, pressed higher and I thought controlled second half - whether that’s because Tonda saw more from higher up ….maybe but as long as he is in stands at least and controls the team he stays.
