Wade Garrett Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Matsuki on the right and Bragg in the middle is fucking criminal. 1
Willo of Whiteley Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Matsuki has been shit as a CM. He is best as an attacking mid. Out wide I think it purely comes down to opposition. 1

bangkoksaint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Poor that THB not playing. A complete lack of class not to be available. Never used to see this sort of behaviour. Players like Milner and Grealish were totally professional and played until the last minute when getting big money moves 10
Harry_SFC Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Today is a big game, no doubt. A Millwall win would put them 10 points ahead of us already.

We would be stronger with him in the team, from memory he is available, Tonda is just choosing not to pick him whilst he is unsettled. 3

Yeah, for all we know it’s the club not risking a saleable asset rather than the player. 4

It sends an important signal - and it means we have competition for places, and if you are not consistently on the top of your game, you are out Nothing to do with it. As emphasised by Eckert, Schlotterbeck is a left footer so plays on the left where Stephens has been standing in for quite a while. Wood is a right footer so plays on the right. Not rocket science. How does it help us to include THB in the team and then he leaves after 4 matches. Then we have to start from scratch again with a different combination at CB. 1 2 1

hypochondriac Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago Maybe they will surprise me but I am quite worried about our midfield getting smashed and overrun. We looked dreadfully poor at Watford and played a similar lineup minus Azaz. Really hoping they have a plan but it looks very lightweight. Shame they didn't feel jwp could start. 3

Do you not think that Downes and Bragg are our best options to break up play? I do - I don’t think JWP will risk his shooting foot with a crunching tackle - he never did and I don’t think he ever will.

Another angle - if we don’t sell THB by the end of the window, does anyone think that Tonda won’t want to break up a CB pairing with THB will staying on the bench while Stephens or Wood start?

SNSUN Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I don't mind that team. Having never seen Schlotterbeck it's hard to say what he's like but he can't be as bad as Jack has been this season surely. Bragg makes sense with Jander injured and JWP freshly signed ans I prefer Matsuki on the right to Fellows. The rest is how it should be. We're good enough to win this and the bench looks decent. Trouble is Millwall have the confidence right now and will cause us problems. I think Peretz will be busy. Draw here... on to Zero points after 3 League games. 😜

Gloucester Saint Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Norwich 2-0 up on Burnley, Cardiff 1 Sheff Utd 1.
ChrisPY Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Two mistakes from the CB Anel to gift Norwich a 2-0 lead. Might have had a lucky escape.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Millwall looking like the home team - way more possession.
Osvaldorama Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Is it just me or do we have no midfield? Just seems to be an empty space where our midfield should be. Barely any pressure on Millwall at all

Suhari Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Reminds me of the match against this lot last season. Big, organised, direct. This'll be a testing afternoon. 1
