It’s not the long ball, it’s getting the ball in to wide players and them turning back and passing it backwards every single time.

It's not been great so far, but I think we're tactically inviting them to press us in the knowledge that they don't have a lot of quality and can't maintain that intensity for 90 mins, and are confident of finishing stronger.

Except that's not happening either. That's how we just ended up with a corner from a ball played out wide then NOT going backwards.
