Bah. Wrexham doing Wrexham things. Did a job on us. Take our chances early on and we win, like last season. Great to see JWP on the score sheet. Let's use the frustration to smash the fishy few.

We'd be sat 4th without the points deduction and everyone would be delighted. Over a season of 46 games those 4 points get diluted but over an 8 game run they really hurt us. Today was a bad result but overall we are playing up to standard and I'm confident Tonda will turn the away form around.

Or play 2 up front. Dobbin was effective as a second striker for Preston. But seeing as we don't appear to play that way his signing is bizarre.

There’s a measure of overreaction on here, we are a good side and will do well this season.

What is not an overreaction is our glaring lack of depth, a massive error on the recruitment dept.

Which leads me to ask - why we are not looking at the free market, we’re eight games in, we cannot rely on the same XI for 50+ games, a lack of quality options from the bench and we already looked tired this early into the season.

With automatics slowly getting a point further away each week, still hoping we can stay in that mix - but if we were to finish in the playoffs, you want to make sure we are finishing 3rd or 4th for the best chance.

Simply, should be bringing in a couple of proven frees as we need the depth to be in and around the top 4.

They’ve regressed back to the “let’s fly in the face of common sense and just randomly sign a Man City academy graduate even though he doesn’t fit the profile of what we need” mantra. Idiotic

Jander is a massive miss and will help us in those transitions from front to back. Hopefully he gets 2 weeks full training in and is ready to play against those cunts.

We don’t want to admit we got it wrong and left the squad too bare in certain areas, so we will refuse to look at it. Seemingly that’s a better look for the club to not look desperate, than actually trying to rectify the issue now.

I dunno, results/points at home are probably more than we deserve, away from home we’re an absolute car crash. No bottle, no confidence, no plan. Wrexham are shit but we managed to be worse today, glad we decided to stay over the border tonight

Poor result, they didn't beat us as much as we beat ourselves. We need to get our heads together for away games, we can't just rely on home form.

3 points against Portsmouth is a must.

If Larin isn't scoring we're short of options and that's a glaring error. Plus always conceding means we need at least two goals every game to win. Jander will strengthen us but the lack of back up for Larin will costs us automatic promotion IMHO.

Played it safe and got sucker-punched, shit happens.
Tonda is a young and inexperienced coach, he'll learn and so will the team.
And honestly, next game is the one to play a blinder and score 6 or 7.

Just an odd signing all round really, spent close to £10 million signing a guy that seems like Cameron Archer Mark II, and then sending out the original model on loan.

Frustrating , the ability is there but usual weaknesses, just dont look like keeping a clean sheet any time soon. 

How many fucking away games will the opponents get away kicking Scienza out of the game AGAIN , not even a yellow 

typical Saints managing to lose that game

It will be a draw. We cant deal with direct, get stuck in teams like today. We cant adjust our game plan so those teams dont even need to spy our watch ours games as too predictable. We try to play like man city or Spain but without top defenders or goal scorers plus no midfield

I think the Wrexham video got to him as has all the anti saints feeling from all clubs and Boro hate campaign.  I think the pressure is too much and Saints should have put him on gardening leave from.day 1

We haven’t won an away game yet. It’s not as if we’re playing Wolves, West Ham or Boro, we’ve had a pretty soft set of away fixtures and we’ve got 2 points from a possible 12. That’s not great at the best of times, but when you’re already on -4 it’s pretty fucking poor.

Away form is a problem. It's OK when it's going well, but when it isn't, the manager has to sort it out quicker.

I think it's just that we're playing the most physical sides in the league away (so far), and they're all being allowed to pick the crap out of us - makes it look worse than it is imo.

At home we seem to go at teams and the tempo is a lot higher. Away from home it’s a different story and we are relatively slow and ponderous. I’d like to see us just going at teams home a d away.

Given Edozie put in a transfer request cos he wants more game time it’s a pity he couldn’t grab the chance when he gets a full half.

Even that pillock Dawson on Sky Sports said he has no end product after doing good work.

I think the problem with Blackmore is he has this habit of interviewing like he knows best what SHOULD happen. Tonda isn’t the only manager he’s crossed swords with over the years that has lead to some frosty interviews.

So fucked off after that. Wrexham were there for the taking. I don’t mind losing, but the way we lost was so frustrating. It was the same old story, slow build up, slow possession  side ways passing. Wrexham were fkn shite and literally done the basics well and probably would have settled for the point. 

With 20 minutes left, why not change it up, bring on Mubama or Dobbin alongside Larin to try and win the game. Ever since Edozie put in a transfer request, Tonda doesn’t know what to do and it feels like he’s giving him minutes for the sake of it. Fellows and Dobbin should be way ahead of Edozie in the pecking order. 

I also feel for Dobbin and Mubama, giving them 5 minutes here and there isn’t going to help them…

I the officials dont care and dont want Saints to succeed. I wouldn't put it past a team calling then up or some useless official at FA.
