Some of the comments on here are brilliant, they are not happy down there.

One of the highlights of Monday morning is reading the fans comments page on the Snooze after another pathetic skate under-performance. Witnessing their slow awakening to the fact that all their dreams and hopes that burnt so bright last summer were built on sand is just so pleasurable. Their gradual realisation and acceptance that yes, they truly are a car crash of a club condemned forever under the current inept leadership. Indeed, if I am ever feeling in need of being cheered up, I just watch the rerun of McInnes's presser introducing Barker as the new manager. (The only thing that comes near that cringeworthy footage was the interview with photo copier salesman, Wacko Jacko in that Dean Court Car Park).

Barker is doing a tremendous job of alienating his players and the fans while Champagne Charlie and his fellow clown Mick "hang dog" Williams, watch on helplessly out of their depth is pure comedy gold

Starting to believe that David Moyes has now proven his credentials to take up a role at poopey having shown he is a out of his depth as their Board

PST has achieved the majority ownership of PFC and needs to evolve and rethink

what we need as the PST way forward. In giving free membership to shareholders the

main income stream has been cut off and it is unclear at the moment where PST future

funding will come from.

Cant believe this has been missed...

"KM expressed concerns over the PST share percentage; there is now a perception that PST should always have at least 51% to retain control. This shouldn't mean refusing extra money offered but should be born in mind. AB asked what the PST EB would want the PFC board to do if further President investment were offered. MT felt the percentage concerns shouldn't prevent PFC accepting further investment but that PST should try and keep the 51% majority and suggested we should target the 12,500 or so who come to FP but don’t have a share. AB thought that future share issues should only be created and launched for specific capital projects in which case people might accept a reduced percentage. KM thought funding for projects could be done in such a way that the percentage is not affected. He said we must look to make the Club secure for the future and leave a foolproof legacy. PW asked how much control the PFC board had over future investment. AB said the PFC board would have to approve it.

and this...

"TD, ST and KM said there should be better communication from the PFC board to the PST board. Club information often becomes public before the PST board knows about it. PST board should be getting a monthly update on the Club finances and have received nothing. As some BMs are not willing to have extra meetings a monthly conference call was suggested"

Well, that's just plain rubbish, they are entitled to an annual report and nothing more. What type of business makes its monthly results public?

Are you suggesting that the PST have an elevated opinion of themselves and their role in the running (into the ground) of PFC? :)

The midweek fixtures and forth coming games for the skates are interesting. I never thought for one minute they would get relegated and probably still don't, but it could get very interesting down there. Just imagine if Malwhinney was still in charge, the ten points would have stuck and it would be all over bar the shouting.

Ha ha.

Am I the only one who reads this as "None of the BM's are willing to have extra meetings but they each need to be able to claim that they are (and it is therefore the others' fault), in order to avoid the vengeance of the Bestest ™."

I wouldn't take those awards too seriously, someone at the FL obviously has a sense of humour.

Let's not forget that they gave pompey the community award at the same time as they were raping the local businesses - and the club that couldn't pay it's own wages let alone return the money stolen from the cancer charity, took two tables at the awards - and then took offence when people laughed at the irony.

Sorry, I forgot for a moment, didn't we agree to write that whole period out of history, bar the cup and the win at SMS?

I thought there were rules in place about the number of players that can be loaners. Barker must be close to the mark.

Rules? They're #tinpotlesspompey ffs, they don't need - or, indeed, want - any steenkin' rules :D

Parachute Payments will cover that.

God bless those PPs, without which they would have perished many times over, but which have instead preserved them into an unenviable living death on the margins of the football world, while we look down on them with mingled horror and merriment

Jeeze.

Its like #factlessallen just spoke his brain.

All of it.

Poured out in a tireless stream of drivel in pompey pravda because theres yet more where this lot came from and no other paper would print the mindless pap he churns out.

Proudly yet badly he writes it in mangled sentences with no commas using small words for the hard of thinking.

Yet one sentence per paragraph makes it easier for everyday fishfolk to read.

But some fishfolk may miss out because not all have yet learned to read.

Their baffled pompey dreams remain strangely unfulfilled.

Um.

Yet more like the above.

Repeat until gullible fishfolk are battered (see what I did there) into readiness for more of exactly the same day after day week after week world without end.

And to be fair, if the league were doing their job properly, we'd probably have our wishes pretty much fulfilled already...job done and virtually no way back from amateur football for the septic isle's finest tax dodgers and charity robbers.

Portsea Island calling,Portsea island calling, Lord Haw Haw broadcasting from the Lost Again Suite in the bunkers of Fratton Park. Do not listen to the lies of the Southampton led media. We are not dropping down the table but it is just a strategic withdrawal that has been ordered by our General Barker. At this moment our gallant armies are forming with their drums, bugles and triangles to march off on our crusade against the untermench who dare face up to us. Our foes at Fleetwood Town dare to say they beat us, did they not see our new wonder weapon Jed Wallace rocket of a goal. Their 3 feeble attempts of reply mean nothing and are only being used by our enemies to cast doubt on our success. Our Fuhrer has sent a message to all our people,'the champagne is on you' and orders that you keep working on getting a share in so that the standards of the boardroom can be kept up.

Being a football chairman is fun - YAY! Money comes falling out of the sky all the time...

Oh and just to let it sink in. While we are up against Suarez, Negredo, Hazard etc., they let Jon Parkin score against them.

Jon. Effin. Parkin!

How many cities bigger than Portsmouth (the city, not the metro area because that would just embarrass them) have their highest-ranked team lower in the football pyramid than them?

I can't think of one, Plymouth is the closest I can think of but they are effectively above them in the table (and should finish that way)!
