11.10.2013 - Ashley Brown: The Supporters Trust owns somewhere in the region of 59% of the football club..

03.01.2014 - Ken Malley: The PST board has unanimously agreed to accept a £450k injection of cash from the club’s President Investors to enable essential, long overdue safety work on Fratton Park to be completed. As a result of the additional investment, the PST remains the majority shareholder in the club with 52.7% of the shares.

10.04.2014 - Ashley Brown: The PST currently owns just under 51% of the club with a group of 11 presidents making up the remaining share.

A few more quid spent on mops, buckets and training cones and it could be game, set and match for the LNWs..

Dear portsmouth pfc, portsmouth council and portsmouth based media.

Please stop endlessly bigging yourself up at every opportunity.

Anyone who didn't know better would think you were suffering from a small inferiority complex and to be honest it's getting more than a little bit embarrassing

Thank you

How I have missed Baloo. I hope he comes back quick.
Chanrai was their best hope as he had the funds to get them back up. it was to his best interests to get them to the PL or at worst the CCC. The best thing is if they keep what they have got IMO

So at what point does the contract with chanrai allow him to parachute back in swiping the cash of the high net worths and the trust.

because let's be honest baloo is considerably smarter than they are

It would be hilarious if he were to re-emerge at fatpipes with another infamous 'fixed and floating charge'

How I have missed Baloo. I hope he comes back quick.

It looks like Chinny has got out of the ferris wheel business too:

I assume he dumped a 'chinny floater' on the scousers too.

The rascal.

Apparently he was with us before we released him and he joined their youth "set up". So their great white hope is a scummer. That'll please the web-toed few.

Should he get a full England cap I wonder if the Echo will write articles about him as though SFC were instrumental in his rise to the top level?

There are one or two conundrums in there. I don't recall anybody saying this time last year that they would be running at a loss for two years. In fact I'm sure I remember them promising it would only be for the first year.
pretty sure they said they would run at a loss in the first two years to be fair.

He is absolutely awful.

We rejected him when he was about 14.

Hasn't got much better judging by the 7-0 drubbing. Got done by Gallagher for our first, lost his man and was stationary for our second. Think it was the fourth when he was made to look like a dummy and chasing shadows all night.

They've gone back to being a complete irrelevance to us, much as they have been for the overwhelming majority of the last half century. Off the radar, not even on a par with Bournemouth.

It's still possible for us to be in a local derby against Bournemouth next season, while Pompey could be in a local derby with, um, Eastleigh...

So they just need a swing of approx .3% and the LNW individuals have the majority shareholding, to add to their majority control of the board.

Seeing as the 59% was quietly whittled down to under 51% over six months, it wouldn't surprise me if an emergency cash injection to pay just half a wagebill over the summer would be enough for the few to lose control of the biggest fan-owned club the world has ever seen.

Then again ownership isn't about a bit of paper, it isn't about figures, ownership is not lost just because someone else owns it, oh no.

Ownership is about what's in your heart, and this pioneering journey to end all journeys was started by that single tear on a child's rosy cheek, and who can forget how that lone salty droplet proudly gathered with many and washed the criminals and their dirty debts out of town, leaving the cup behind - and those tears are now the frothing maelstrom upon which the club is sailing to glory, like a plucky twig carried aloft on the shoulders of a mighty blue river, a trailblazing river that will ripple throughout world football and guide the game's direction for generations to come.

So even if someone else 'technically' owns the club, the fans will always have full control.

Sort of.

But don't forget, the H/LNW individuals are fans too.

Just that some of them aren't fans of p****y.

But hey, once they've sampled that 'special atmosphere' (insert own punchline here), they'll be won over, just like all those players who loved the club when they were playing it, and love it now, so long as they pay what's owed to them.

@mickwill Good luck to @pn_neil_allen in Regional Press Awards 'Sports Journalist of the year' http://t.co/PfJw7rD8Eg #Pompey

:mcinnes:

LOL, if he wins imagine what the others must be like!

#factlessallen winning that would require as a minimum at least one of the following:

- every other possible candidate being struck down with plague

- a massive bung to the panel which would need to be generously equipped with a collective sense of irony

The Ali Dia of the journalistic world!

Travesty that he's even allowed in to anything bearing the name 'journalist'

Still...part of the tapestry of amusement and ridicule on here.

See how this is written?

How not

To do

Perhaps his ultimate aim

Is to become

The EJ Thribb of

Local sports

Journalism.

One of the articles submitted as an example of his brilliance is titled: Lost And In Need To Be Found

Does that even make sense???

Dolt.

Have you read it?

It's the article about the 'priceless' antiques that have been stolen / thrown out from the skate boardroom.

As well as describing the priceless antiques, such as the HMS Victory table, that wasn't on the HMS Victory and was not made from wood from the HMS Victory, the article also goes on to point out exactly where all the priceless antiques are, such as those that have been thrown in the skip for being neither priceless nor antique and the stuff the builder whipped away to store in his shed in lieu of payment and also the HMS Victory painting that is hanging in the Sheffield Wednesday boardroom - put there by Milan as the painting was given to him as a gift when he sold the club.

So, basically it is an article about priceless antiques that are neither priceless nor antique that are lost, despite the fact that the whereabouts of each and every one of them is known, so they aren't lost and don't need to be found!

Amazing journalism and would be a worthy winner!

Oh well, bang goes our dream of #lowlypompey being #nonleaguepompey but nevertheless there are bright spots. The recent contradictory nonsense spouted about their great finance will have bags of fun as it gets made clear, as will the Tesco deal and ramifications.

This is brilliant - they'll appoint Awford full-time and by next season it'll have worn off. They'll hire and fire again a couple of times and be right back where they are now this time next season.

My prediction is that the fans will own 45% by this time next year.

Lols.
