Saint_clark Posted 16 March, 2011 Share Posted 16 March, 2011 Was sure i'd seen one of these already, but couldn't find it anywhere. Nevermind. Win this and it'll be 4 on the bounce, and considering what Posh did to them yesterday no reason why we can't follow suit. Would be nice if we'd signed a CM by this game as well. I'm gonna go for a 3-0 win, Barnard, Lambert and Chamberlain.

SuperSAINT Posted 16 March, 2011 Share Posted 16 March, 2011 They've been very poor. We've been very good. But it's on TV... How many times have we been on TV this season? doddisalegend Posted 16 March, 2011 Share Posted 16 March, 2011 I give up predicting these things on paper it looks like points in the bag but then I never saw us losing to Walsall or Brentford. When I think it's going to be tough we normally win. So on that note I'm half expecting us to lose it 1-0. Got keep winning really just to keep the two in front looking over their shoulders. Still it will be nice to get back down to SMS after missing Yeovil with a bad back.

marc_saint Posted 17 March, 2011 Share Posted 17 March, 2011 (edited) Sheffield Wednesday have just signed 6ft 7in centre half Rob Jones from S****horpe for the rest of the season and he should make his debut on Saturday. http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-wednesday/breaking_sheffield_wednesday_sign_rob_jones_from_s****horpe_1_3190372 S****HORPE’S 6ft 7in centre half Rob Jones today became Sheffield Wednesday’s second loan signing in two days. He will be at Hillsborough for the rest of the season - like Wolves centre back Danny Batth, who signed yesterday. Both are set to make their debuts at Southampton on Saturday. Manager Gary Megson confirmed that, with the end of the season only seven weeks away, the injured Mark Beevers will be out “for quite a while.” He will have an operation on Monday at which it will be decided whether or not to insert a plate into his damaged cheekbone. Megson also revealed that a circular has been sent to other clubs to inform them the Owls have players who are available on loan. No names are mentioned in the letter. Jones, who like Beevers is left-footed, signed for S****horpe from Hibernian for an undisclosed but club record transfer fee in July 2009. He began his career with Stockport County before joining Grimsby Town. The 31-year-old made 121 appearances for Hibs and scored 12 goals. He captained the Easter Road side to their first silverware in 16 years when they lifted the Scottish League Cup in 2007. Edited 17 March, 2011 by Saint_clark Edited the article in. saint1977 Posted 17 March, 2011 Share Posted 17 March, 2011 Lallana is going to cause mayhem if Megson picks Semi. Here's hoping! A new CB partnership for them is bound to bring communication issues and Jones has been in poor form for S'thorpe and if he can't get a game in their back 4 that leaked 3 to PNE midweek then he really must be out in the cold there. I'd be tempted to give Forte a run with 30 minutes to go, chuck them a pacy curve ball after struggling with RL/LB for an hour. On paper, they have some quality front players but I guess their midfield is getting overrun. You can't see Megson lasting much longer with Mad Milan's track record if their run keeps on.
