I would usually treat this with a pinch of salt, but it is from the Mirror and I presume Alan Nixon who has a good track record with us. Personally, I can't see we need another RB, unless as back up. The guy who used to be at Wolves and ended up at Hamburg? If I remember correctly he was struggling to get into the team out there. Did used to look a good prospect though. I thought he was a regular this season before picking up a bad injury a couple of months ago? I'd still like to see an ambitious bid for Essien. You know, proper quality and experience, rather than the rubbish people usually settle for to get experience. His wages would be enormous. Too much for us surely?
