Dyer: I'd love to score for Saints fans

Here we go again. Another opportunity for Southampton supporters to diss one of their own players? No wonder they under-peform when they get on the pitch at St Mary's.

Quite honestly the way we treat our footballers makes we think we deserve our fate.

It's no mistake he is rated at every club he has played for except the one he spent his academy years with, I hope he knocks the skates out and impresses when he gets back here. To say I was gobsmacked that he was loaned again would be an understatement.

I'm sure scoring a goal for Southampton at SMS would be appreciated much more than scoring a goal for Swansea at FP. Why's he out on loan?

He isnt the sharpest tool in the box is he.

If he scored then said AFTERWARDS that was for Saints fans then fair enough, but to say before he even gets on the pitch ?

Very brave or very stupid ?

Well not really, if he says that now the Pompey fans (not being the brightest of individuals) will focus on that and that alone and not his thievery in one of their

venerable nightspots last year. He'd probably settle for just being called Scummer reject and not Pikey Scummer tea leaf.

Nathan is a much better player than Ryan Smith to me. Unfortunately Smith is cheaper and that is the only criteria at SFC nowadays. Respect to little Nathan for remind us where his loyalties are.

Sorry, I don't think this is true. Dyer got his new four year deal well into the Dutch revolution and it's highly unlikely that we would have offered a new contract we couldn't afford to a player who we could have let go for nothing in the summer anyway.

Our financial situation is poor but it has not got significantly worse that we can't afford to pay a contract signed only six months ago. We must have signed at least six players since then anyway, and a couple this window.

Although finances are dictating the vast majority of the decisions, I think the fact that Dyer isn't at the club at present is not one of those decisions.

I'd love to be a seagull (not a Brighton fan) flying over Fratton watching the Skates going demented that a current scummer, and one that robbed on their patch, has scored in their tinpot rusting shed. Then once I'd had my fun I'd fly low over the Fratton end and deposit a huge crap on their heads.
