I say it every game but I never understand keeping the ball to the extent of passing it all the way back to the keeper for the keeper to then just boot it long and give it away anyway.

Always strikes me as odd too. I guess it’s the safe play

I know this is premature (as far as this game is concerned) but we don't look out of place as a top 6/7/8 side, do we? Even with half our first team out.

Playing some very good football and win the ball back with ease. Makes it even more frustrating that Ralph has been hamstrung in terms of investment because of poor transfer/contract decisions in the past.

We're looking very tidy tonight. Crisp, incisive and accurate passing, but worry we haven't got the finisher we need without Ings. One mistake could settle this game, hopefully not ours.

Think Adams has shown that he can finish if given a decent chance in front of goal.

I don’t have BT Sport, so the wife has me watching Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

Which is just as well because Saints are a bunch of useless bastards and Adams couldn’t hit a barn door with a banjo. 😄

I had cheeseburgers and chips for dinner by the way, but we didn’t have buns so used Warburton’s Thins.
