I'd be happy to never see Bednarek play for us again, but if he's going to then a least he needs a decent DM in front of him to give him some protection. When Romeu is in form he does that very well, but when he's out of form our defence gets so badly exposed. Diallo offers no protection whatsoever. I'm not sure changing managers is even going to change anything. Oh I agree. I think we’ve always been shit defensively. We’ve literally lost 9-0 2 seasons on the bounce and we’re lucky to avoid it this season. I’d keep AA on, nice finish earlier, just offside. Issues are at the back, Brentford could have a hatful, Diallo is clearly a box to box midfielder or on the right side of a 3, he’s not a fucking DMC.
