Barsiem Posted yesterday at 12:22 Posted yesterday at 12:22 Suspect the Swansea move is made up BS personally... The guy who tweeted it is pretty unreliable, and usually you'd get a better source (like Romano) verifying it quite quickly afterwards

bugenhagen Posted yesterday at 16:39 Posted yesterday at 16:39 He might also just want a fresh start. Everything about his time here screams treatment rooms and injuries. Could just be a simple as that.

International, former Premier League player who spent the summer at the World Cup. Some pretty strong selling points there

Scoobysaint Posted yesterday at 17:14 Posted yesterday at 17:14 I do wonder if Stewart was the player who allegedly kicked off once we were kicked out the final. That was his chance to get the year extension and get to play in the Prem, to show he could cut it at that level and prove himself. Also, with fewer games and arguably a less physical demanding league, proven that he could have coped in the Prem. Would have set him up nicely to get that one last big contract. Instead he’s off to Swansea.

Cabrone Posted yesterday at 17:28 Posted yesterday at 17:28 (edited) If he stays healthy it's a cracking signing for them, when fit he was great. Was kinda hoping we might have kept him but if a player wants out there's no point keeping them against their will. Best of luck to Ross. So, who is going to replace him? LiberalCommunist Posted yesterday at 18:39 Posted yesterday at 18:39 Looking forward to seeing him play, whilst it doesn't mean a gasp of anxiety when he goes to control the ball. No hard feelings, but also no tears.

saintant Posted yesterday at 18:58 Posted yesterday at 18:58 Can't see any mention of Wrexham being close to signing Stewart on their fans forum. Think this will end up being chucked in the file marked Bullshit.

What was this rumour and why is it bad if a player was angry? This place would be full of people who are leaving if that was the case.

Given he's a bit olfer than others Scienza may have viewed it as robbing him of potentially his last chance to play English top flight football.

He even admitted in a recent interview he was very emotional in the aftermath and needed a few days to calm down. He is clearly desperate to play in the Premier League and no doubt would've loved to do it with us. Anyway not really the topic of the thread.
