LuckyNumber7 Posted Saturday at 10:48 Posted Saturday at 10:48 Too much white and no stripes on the back. Another kit I wont be getting. Shame as other than that I quite like it.
Sidney Fudpucker the 3rd Posted Saturday at 11:40 Posted Saturday at 11:40 What prick decided that 2 shades of red was a good idea? It makes it look like there's been a problem during manufacturing. One again, what started out as a good idea has turned out to look piss poor in reality. 5

I think the manufacturers run the standard design choice past the club and then say, but if you want it to be even more innovative we can… At this point people who know what they are doing will say fuck off, hence the reason we end up with all this bollocks. 2

Spoonman Posted Saturday at 13:33 Posted Saturday at 13:33 Missed an open goal there with the plain back, I don’t get it. That said, I reckon white looks better than red. Shame as it’s a nice shirt from the front

Wade Garrett Posted Saturday at 14:04 Posted Saturday at 14:04 The person that chooses the kit is probably the same useless c*nt that signs players. 1 5

Badger Posted Saturday at 14:11 Posted Saturday at 14:11 (edited) Just a thought, but would a plain back be cheaper to manufacture than stripes ? Obviously doesn’t worry Brentford, and others. Edited Saturday at 18:31 by Badger

JCBSaint Posted Sunday at 07:21 Posted Sunday at 07:21 And just for a moment I was gonna get a new saints top, first time in years , then they ruin it as per with a plain back! Some people don’t care, they just don’t get tradition and just the fact it looks better with a black number in red and white (in my humble opinion). we have this knack of just getting it wrong every year, why is it so difficult and who keeps making it so????! obviously its not confirmed and am hoping it is stripes at the back, just have to wait and see but if these leaks are true then it just feels like another opportunity missed to sell a huge amount of nice shirts as it looks great from the front , just leaves a bit of a sour taste or that three walls of a room have been painted and the 4th wall just left as it was! 3

If you design something that is crap or at best a half finished mish mash then people won’t! Tradition actually means something to a lot of people. Nobody is wetting themselves and there’s nothing wrong with voicing an opinion , from what I have read on here most people are just annoyed as a nice design seems to have been ruined once again, if you like the shirt with a plain back then that’s up to you but don’t criticise those who don’t. 5

Most fans will have a strong view on the kit their teams trots out in, mostly based on ‘tradition’ and maintaining that. I’d like to see a more traditional kit, and if it is going to pay homage to the 1976/7 shirt then should do so fully. That said I wouldn’t look to wear it myself, though understand many others do. 10 hours ago, Patrick Bateman said: Looks good, get a name and number on that, it passes This I don’t follow, as to why a grown adult wants to have a number and someone else’s name on the back of it. It’s an age thing I’m sure but I see plenty who I’d put in the ‘old enough to know better camp’ doing it, sometimes older than me.
sockeye Posted Sunday at 11:33 Posted Sunday at 11:33 Two shades and plain back spoils it. Sorry Saints, you’re not getting my money this year either!

The same way Atletico Madrid in their r&w with lighter blue shorts are instantly recognisable. The colour blue in those images is almost identical to the blue P&O use in their corporate logo as well, which would be a nice tie in. I know this is silly but whenever I see Atletico's kit it reminds me of the US flag and all the painful US Flag outfits people wear on commemoration days etc. I prefer black shorts so as to not fire this association as often 😆

On that note I'd never buy a kit with a gambling sponsor on it, too many relatives / people I know have had their lives ruined or had massive problems from gambling addiction. All this online stuff just turbo charges it, it's no good at all. 2

They banned Beer from Footy shirts but allow sponsors that might as well be advertising Laudanum or crystal meth, does as much damage. 1
Nolan Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Had to look up Midnite, as I'd never heard of them. Sounds like theyre a proper UK based platform (licensed in the UK) that are to someone like Paddy Power, as Metro Bank or Starling are to Barclays disruptors to the industry Midnite secured £10,000,000 in a sensational growth funding round. 1
goodymatt Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago So Midnite rather than Draper Tools on the back of the shirt.
Saint86 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago So now you can't even get a training top without getting a sponsor plastered across it.

EBS1980 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Least it means the main sponsor won’t be a gambling company though
