Add him to the list I know they were in the squad, but they made little to no impact, might as well include Lee Barnard or Jonno Quick

ErwinK1961 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Seems we’re not the only ones struggling to get stuff done. Seen quite a few premier league managers bemoaning the lack of transfer activity so far. Emery, Nuno, Marco Silva, Moyes, Potter, Perreira and Glasner I’ve seen having a whinge. Going to be an interesting week.

Still find it difficult to comprehend how we didn’t get a positive result, we did more than enough. All the trendy people say stats are important and xG tells you a lot and that suggests we should have won 2-1. Football is made up of moments. Stoke took their chances today we had Lady Luck against us, along with poor finishing, but it happens. All of a sudden the world is falling apart because we lost a game of football. i just hope the Samaritans are adding extra resource in Southampton this week as there appear to be a good number of people on this forum who are teetering. It has brightened my evening reading it all though, so thank you all. Agreed... It always pays dividends being positive about Saints at the start of the season... In the mid-90s, Hurlock, Dixon and other large contracts didn’t disappear by magic - they were paid up and it allowed Bally space to run things with Lawrie so Branfoot’s old faces weren’t hanging around. Welcome to top level elite sport boys. I think the other piece to add is the fantastic youth system Saints had in place at that time. maybe too many players to bin off what with PSR regulations to worry about. No idea, but it would certainly help for a faster reset to move on a number of players that at best would be loaned out.

Willo of Whiteley Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago The club could’ve been proactive in targeting players early. Looking at players going out of contract etc. But nope we’re probably haggling over an extra million or two just to get the deal over the line 2

Willo of Whiteley Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago We’ve enquired for Rak-Sakyi, but we aren’t the only ones. He wasn’t in the Palace squad today.
Convict Colony Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) From our fav armenian X account - am not sure the president knows the quality of our team (in bold) Spertsyan's contract expires in 2029, and not next summer: the hopes of supporters to see Edo play in a club from one of the top six leagues, including the Championship , may therefore not come to fruition. To date, Krasnodar has received only two offers for Spertsyan's transfer: from Ajax in the summer of 2023 for 8.5 million euros + 2 million, and from Southampton for 16 million dollars + 2 million + 5% sell-on clause. Furthermore, the transfer of funds from the English club, mentioned by the media, poses no difficulty. These are merely false excuses to justify the player's refusal to leave. Galitsky has persuaded the protégé to wait for a club more worthy of him, and insisted that at Krasnodar, he was a star and a favorite, whereas there, he would be an ordinary player. Consequently, given his long-term contract, it seems that Spertsyan will have to wait a little longer before realizing his European dream. This means that the Bulls' chances of winning the championship will increase. Edited 6 hours ago by Convict Colony 3

Turkish Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago t has been a pleasure working with my contacts and friends for several years on all these transfer rumors surrounding Spertsyan. But from today, we are ending the agreement to no longer focus on his case, we understand that Krasnodar will never let him go. We will focus on other players outside of Russia. Thank you all for your trust in this endless saga over all these years. 🙏🏼❤️🇦🇲
Turkish Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Well the chairman sounds a little scamp…. Honestly, what do I think about this story? Ashamed. There are no other words. President Galitsky has stated several times that he wants to let his players go if that's their wish, he and even the coach have already stated that Spertsyan only has 1 year left on his contract at the club so he can sign wherever he wants, Which is false, he lied because behind everyone's back, Galitsky extended Spertsyan's contract without declaring it publicly and we don't know when the extension was made. But even his agent doesn't seem to be aware of this extension. This is also why the release clause was not triggered in the last SaintsFC offer. How can a professional club, which won the championship last year, which has stated several times that they are ready to let their player leave whenever they want, even on a free, how can this club afford to extend the contract of its star player without publicly declaring it? It may not be illegal, but it lacks a great deal of professionalism, but it proves once again that Galitsky and Krasnodar are doing everything possible to ensure that Spertsyan remains in Krasnodar for life, despite their public statements. The question we also ask ourselves is: why did Edo agree to extend? Too much pressure? Possible, we know, we have examples and proof that Russian clubs put pressure on their best "foreign" players to make them stay, this was the case with Tiknizyan, Lokomotiv Moscow had refused all offers from European clubs before accepting the offer from the Serbians. The same goes for Dynamo Moscow's pressure on Arsen Zakharyan to choose Russia over Armenia and then be free to go wherever he wants if there are offers in Europe. Surely there's a clause in his previous contract that triggers a new extension? Who knows? Now that we've seen them lie publicly on numerous occasions, we know they're capable of anything. In short, this championship is a championship to be avoided by Armenians, never trust businessmen because they are even capable of betraying one of their compatriots. Galitsky is Armenian, but from today on he will not be considered as such, even if many have never considered him Armenian since he married a Russian woman and changed his name but that is his personal life, everyone has their own opinion. To return to “football” We understand better why all of Eduard Spertsyan's transfers have failed, he is stuck in his club despite everything he has done and achieved.

No idea if he'd have been revolutionary for us or not, but he was clearly our main target in the attacking area - as was Gakpo, Ramos, O'Riley etc in past windows. Zero of these big moves over the line. We did manage to get BBD, Archer and Onuachu though at least. Sigh. 4 1
