Love this point in the transfer window where people try to convince themselves that options we had at the club all along that have thus far not been the ticket are now *fine*. 

The manager wanted two starting wingers. If we only get one, that's us compromised until January.

Another 135m on top of the 300m they've already spent. They go on about other clubs spending.


It is funny winding them up though about Klopp not being as good as they though and was holding them back, gets a bite every time

I know Scienza is Brazilian (or half Brazilian, half Luxembourgian), but given the time hes spent playing in Germany - hopefully our German links with Spors/Lederer and recent German league signings makes us more appealing to him than Paris FC. Although will likely come down to who pays the highest wage

They got all shitty with TAA but will welcome Isak. ‘Imagine not being them’

Unlike in the 80s when there where lovely flowers everywhere, beautiful buildings and no crime or litter

As you say there is something that does not add up about his time with Saints. Something must have gone on for him to be constantly overlooked.

Has to be a reason why 4 managers haven’t picked him. Still was speaking positively about ‘Chas’ in pressers though. Must be player decision?

Frasers been our best player so far so I wouldn't be dropping him for anyone coming in right away regardless.

Theres been no talk of Bree leaving, has there? Manning, Wellington, Mads, Jelert, Bree...five fullbacks that most championship sides would want.

Word on Scienza is no 'Complete Agreement' but that he has chosen Saints. Final details to be hammered out between the clubs.

Guess it depends if they think they're still 2-3 hours away from having the financials etc in place, but all parties are happy for him to travel so he's in the right place for when the agreement happens

IMO, the Paris link was always a case of trying to drive up what we’re offering.

We'll see. It's not always the team with the better players that wins promotion. A good manager can get more out of inferior players in some cases.

Yeah likely a few formalities. Probably an agreement in principle with just the details to agree on.

Paris is a shithole. 

That's the difference maker signing for me if (when) it's finalised. Still has the players at his disposal to deliver promotion so no excuses now to not achieve it.

Agree we have depth all over the pitch, just GK that’s the weak spot. Perhaps if Bazunu fails to deliver and Ramsdale sits on the bench until end of January, we can do something about it? Wishful thinking, I know.
