Ridiculously one sided again as the last one was 4-0 to PSG at HT this could easily end double figures the gap in quality of ridiculous and this is the knockout rounds Edited June 29 by Turkish

Willo of Whiteley Posted June 29 Posted June 29 I genuinely don’t know anyone that has watched the Club World Cup. Even some of my die hard football friends that live and breathe it couldn’t care less. 😂 2

Just seems to be a case of rich get richer and get to batter some shitter teams. I doubt many people outside the supporters of those clubs, or their plastic fans from across the world, or the media, could care about it - not like International football.

Like most TV screenings these days the director doesn't 'get' football with too many different camera angles, endless replays of nothing and shots of the managers, the crowd, anything except what's actually happening on the pitch. It's designed for background showing in an American style sports bar where you only need to look up from your buffalo wings if a goal is scored or there's a penalty.. 1 1

I don't think he has top level in his locker anymore if I'm honest. 3-4 years ago he was top, quick, powerful, but he's not the same anymore. Feels a bit Micah Richards to Villa. We'll see how it pans out.

Not so sure now, feels like Des Walker after Overmars destroyed him. Just like his namesake I don’t think he’s anywhere near the player he once was without that pace.

Thing is at Burnley he won't be maurading up and down the wing, he is a solid enough defender and gives some quality for Burnley who will sit back more than when he is playing for City, Milan or England. The legs aren't what they used to be but won't be such a problem there. 2
Lighthouse Posted July 4 Posted July 4 If you’re going to sign a has been with big club experience, Walker is a hundred times better shout than us signing Lallana last season. They’ll be hoping he can do what Zabaleta did for the Hammers.
ErwinK1961 Posted Saturday at 17:30 Posted Saturday at 17:30 Nasty leg break for Musiala by looks of it, what a waste in a completely pointless unwanted tournament. 1

Think of the money all the sponsors and big corps are making though, it's a winner for them. But I agree with you, it's just a pointless waste of time tournament. Nothing about it is to do with football which is why I've had no interest in it.
suewhistle Posted Saturday at 18:25 Posted Saturday at 18:25 I've not followed Infantino's time waster at all but now off to the pub to watch England v France, where all the players _will_ be taking it seriously. 2
ChristopheVAFC Posted Saturday at 19:04 Posted Saturday at 19:04 I hope you enjoy the match, my friends. May the best win! Women Euro 2025 🇲🇫🤝🏴 1
saintant Posted Saturday at 20:00 Posted Saturday at 20:00 England women cart horses continually giving the ball away and being outclassed by France. Big second half needed but not sure England have it in them.

Turkish Posted Wednesday at 21:33 Posted Wednesday at 21:33 Watched PSG v Real Madrid and this PSG team is something else. Absolutely outclassed Real Madrid, there were a joy to watch like Barcelona 2008-12 with quick pass and move in midfield but then dynamic quick, skillful forwards who Real couldn’t live with. They are levels above anyone else right now 2

Nice to have a different team than usual dominate albeit funded by petrol dollars. To think they nearly didn’t get out of CL group stage as well

HarvSFC Posted 42 minutes ago Posted 42 minutes ago (edited) City and United were allowed to do it last season. But, it's another case of one rule for the big clubs and another rule for the rest. Edited 42 minutes ago by HarvSFC
SambaMaverick Posted 40 minutes ago Posted 40 minutes ago Gutted for Palace and the fans in particular, but the phrase 'rules are written in blood' comes to mind. I'd say no club will make Palace's mistake again in a hurry.
