Skates game against Ipswich postponed again!

Very tinpot. Bit of a frost or some rain and they’re unable to play. Sure it’s got nothing to do with the injury crisis

According to the blue few I work with, it's because they are on an island and it floods easily. Nothing to do with having a piss poor drainage system.

Are they nearer sea level than St Marys then?

Got to laugh at Chelsea. First half of Arsenal v Chelsea was long, drab and dull.
They’re being skated for playing the least attacking game ever.
They spent the six minutes of second half stoppage time walking it to the edge of the Arsenal penalty area, and passing back to their centre backs.
Then Arsenal countered and scored a solitary goal.

If that is Rosenior’s normal tactics then my god, that was a hard watch and good luck to Chelsea. Who on here wanted him as manager? 👀

Passing it around almost as much as Russell Martin teams. 😂😂

Chelsea leaving 3 players up field for Arsenal corners, meaning they’ve had to empty the box of 4 players and not crowd the keeper as much. Something we should try…

Agree - we'd probably conceded less and score more if we tried it. Keeper has space to catch the ball and can then launch it over the top to Fellows and Scienza.

Watched a bit of the Hull-Watford game: 0-0 and all very much thud and blunder but with the sort of physicality that we usually struggle against..

With Bree and Stewart we have a bit more physicality about us. We've been bullied a lot less in the last 3 games.

That was annoying to watch. What makes it worse, as they were finding the wings and passing it back across, they had the arsenal box loaded. I get Chelsea have players to work the ball into the box, but they never really got a ball in the mixer.......

What was more annoying was the solitary fan voice you could hear on the commentary

Blackburn just scrape a win against Wednesday - WBA now in the drop zone and their forum is very worried. Also from having a read through, they seem to think Charlie Taylor's legs have gone.

Paceless defender? Disappointing he wasn't back with us, so we could have sold him to Leicester along with Aribo's loan. 🙂

His reaction at full time at St Mary's. That was the turning point.

Have to admit I’m very much enjoying their decline since his, and his teams fans, reactions to full time at St Mary’s, utterly tinpot

Sigh, lets give the big clubs 'another' rule change to help them compete...

Not only is his football drab but massive petrol club ‘give us what we want’ attitude.

City unsettled the player no doubt, helping break up Palace’s much loved cup winning team, knew the rules and now want to break them, along with the 100+ FFP alleged breaches.

Modern ECL-level football = get in the bin.

Hearts against Dundee united on a muddy pitch, not much mincing around at the back. Dundee down to 9 and the manager sent off as well…

I’ve got quite into the Scottish league this year. Started watching Rangers games to rubberneck the absolute car crash of Martin’s short-lived stay, but have kept watching it. Proper three horse race now with Celtic and Rangers not quite as good as they usually are and Hearts significantly better. Feels like a league where everyone can beat everyone and the old school blood and thunder approach is great.

Plus they’ve got that system where the league splits in half towards the end of the season and technically a team could finish the season on more points than the team above them but still finish below them in the final table, which is enjoyably mental. It’s good fun.

In fairness the rule is daft given Semenyo can play.

It’s a daft rule, but you can’t change it mid-season.

Cup-tied players I used to understand, but nowadays it’s pointless because the game relies so heavily on player trading.

I still think it’s wrong that we don’t have cup replays when smaller teams rely so heavily on the ticket and TV revenue, purely because it inconveniences the bigger teams and their hectic schedule.

The irony is there isn’t much difference in terms of games played, especially when you get the likes of Newcastle and Tottenham that bigger overseas for a pointless friendly.
Even their players must find it ridiculous.

A small club getting a cup draw against a much bigger club is a bonus for them. If you're 'relying' on said game going to a replay to balance the books then it's you that has gone wrong, not the system. Very rarely do those games go to a replay anyway, the big team ususally wins first time.

90% of replays are just crap like Stoke vs Derby. Who wants to watch 3.5 hours of that, with the associated travel costs and everything else?

I've watched a few, been entertaining, but Wilfried Nancy at Celtic was comedy gold , in fact the league really has shown what a difference just one man (the team manager) can have on a side. Russell Martin should be thoroughly embarrassed at the terrible results he had at Rangers. Danny Rohl has settled the ship and now have them in great form, if they go on to win the league i wonder if Martin will still get a medal as he "featured" in a certain % of the fixtures

100%. The trajectories of Rangers and Celtic this season, and the way their form has mapped directly onto who was managing them at the time, getting wildly different runs of results with the same groups of players depending on how they managed them and what systems/ formations they used, should put to bed once and for all the nonsense that was being spouted on here about how managers and formations don't make any difference and it's all just about what players you've got. O'Neill and Rohl have done fantastic jobs and won lots of games, Martin and Nancy did terrible jobs and lost lots of games. It's a direct correlation.
