All derived from its original Latin meaning of I / me / myself. Please don't get me wrong. I think he's a great player and I'm glad that he is playing for us. He will however need to adjust his temperament to the English game. 1 1

He's proven so far that his temperament is great. It's our other loser players that need to adjust their temperaments not Scienza. Edited 6 hours ago by hypochondriac 1

What I am (attempting) to say is that he will attract a lot of physical attention from other less talented players and he probably won't win the fouls that he might have expected in his previous experiences.

"he will have to adjust his temperament to the English game" he's already won more fouls than any other player since he signed I am sure. He doesn't need to adjust he temperament, he needs to keep doing what he is doing. 1

This isn’t finishing school pal, it’s a football forum. Imagine being precious about that Edited 4 hours ago by Mboto Gorge

I have to say I've found the arguments on this thread rather difficult to follow. He feels that he isn't getting enough protection from the refs, and I suspect there'd be very few on this board who disagreed with that view. Objecting to attempts to physically harm him seems reasonable, and I've seen little evidence of diving.
Mboto Gorge Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Maybe if Leo goes in goal and concedes around 50% of shots he faces, whilst diving too late for the majority, Whitey will start becoming a huge fan. Edited 4 hours ago by Mboto Gorge 1
