All derived from its original Latin meaning of I / me / myself. Please don't get me wrong. I think he's a great player and I'm glad that he is playing for us. He will however need to adjust his temperament to the English game. 1 1

He's proven so far that his temperament is great. It's our other loser players that need to adjust their temperaments not Scienza. Edited January 22 by hypochondriac 7

What I am (attempting) to say is that he will attract a lot of physical attention from other less talented players and he probably won't win the fouls that he might have expected in his previous experiences. 1

"he will have to adjust his temperament to the English game" he's already won more fouls than any other player since he signed I am sure. He doesn't need to adjust he temperament, he needs to keep doing what he is doing. 4

I have to say I've found the arguments on this thread rather difficult to follow. He feels that he isn't getting enough protection from the refs, and I suspect there'd be very few on this board who disagreed with that view. Objecting to attempts to physically harm him seems reasonable, and I've seen little evidence of diving. 2

Gloucester Saint Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Well done Leo, those cunts deserved that. Well done Flynn for putting one on their arse as well right next to the inbreds. 7
ally_uk Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Should be our captain, shows passion and heart this lad. 2
Pamplemousse Posted January 25 Posted January 25 When Aribo leaves, give him the number 7 shirt. Le Tiss, Lambert, Long... and Leo. 5
St. Ciervo Posted January 26 Posted January 26 (edited) The fact that he doesn't yet have the armband is another mark on Tonda. The man is class. Give the man a key to the city. I havent felt a connection to a saints player like this since at least a decade...maybe longer. Edited January 26 by St. Ciervo 1

But Armstrong is the worst vice captain I've ever seen. So Scienza should be in the conversation for that at least. 3

Patrick Bateman Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Photo from the official site ... I think we can all see Leo gets hacked around every match, but clear proof on that ankle!

RedArmy Posted February 25 Posted February 25 The best player in the league and to be honest it’s probably not even close. Credit where it’s due, Spors has got us a gem. 6
pimpin4rizeal Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Seen a few doubting him to step up to the prem but if todays anything to go by he will be just fine. I think it’s actually debatable now if he’s better then lallana was with us at this level ? Both great in their own ways lallana a bit more tricky but Leo has the directness and pace that he can as most cut through teams by himself if he tightens up the shooting would be a monster 4

He is good enough to step up though

karlb79 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago He'll be in the Prem next season, with or without us.
Kenilworthy1959 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Given West Ham's obsession with our players I anticipate a bid from them in the Summer

Love the guy, but that final ball is more often poor than good. 1. Should've scored that major chance 2. At least two chances today where he could have passed across goal to Larin or Azaz. Although I think the main Larin one he didn't as he (Larin) was offside?? 1

Really can’t see anyone forking out the cash required for someone turning 28 in September unless he seriously ups his output. I think we can say goodbye to THB either way though.
