another 10/10 transfer window with only two of our signings managing to get into the team - wonder if we will out do last year and have more than 5 of them on loan by Jan

I put that down to the personnel rather than the formation itself. We've changed the CBs since then, but I'm not convinced any of our FB options are good enough defensively to play a four.

When your bench has players like Downes, Roeslev, Fellows, Azaz, Archer, Jelert and THB you can have absolutely no complaints about our transfer window. We’ve got depth and quality all over the park, now it’s up to Will to find his best XI and start winning some games.

Decided to pay the £10 for the clubs stream rather than faff about - the hotel Wi-Fi is bad enough anyway. Only problem is it’s too early for the bar to open. ☹️

Think we could get something today. 1-2 Saints.

I forgot it was 3 players - but when they are on the bench I can have every right to complain - we were shit last year and have been shit this year - weve spent years binning squad players and absolutley needed to strenghten with automatic starters in the team - so by buying a new bench im meant to be impressed -

Yep. You can't dress up 4 of the 7 new players not making the team as meaning we've signed well.

But if you look at it another way, it could be said that the guys who they were meant to have replaced have stepped their own games up?

Or, it means we're relying on players who weren't previously good enough, and that their replacements aren't good enough.

What did we pay for them combined? Must be getting on for £80m ridiculous for the championship
