Jovan Makama (21, 6'5'', already 12 goals this season in a poor side) at Norwich has shown recently that there can be value in the lower Leagues. It's not guaranteed though, especially when you factor in that we are Southampton Football Club. 😄

Piroe is an interesting one because he plays in similar parts of the pitch as Armstrong which means he’ll drop deep and look to link play. I think we need a channel runner personally but he does have the traits to play that deep/link play that we like with the physical upgrades.

Interesting as Frankfurt have just signed a youngish player from a lower division and hes already scored in the Bundesliga.

Ah I misread that. So Frankfurt sold Matanovic to Freiburg and then signed the replacement in January.
