SylvianSylvian Posted yesterday at 11:41 Posted yesterday at 11:41 Delighted to see Edozie back. Could still be an important player for us this season. Come on Saints! 3

I want to see a statement of intent from us and to go at Watford from the start. We need to be winning all our home games now without fail as we have left ourselves a mountain to climb. Lose today and unfortunately i will not see us as a playoff contender. There is only an outside chance of us reaching the play-offs even if we win today. The problem will not be us picking up points, teams above us need to drop points and there isn't much sign of that happening for the top group. It will be a very hard slog to overhaul them all 1

What would be gutting is to finish one or two points behind 6th and wondering 'What If' we'd beaten the Skates even once...

goodymatt Posted yesterday at 11:54 Posted yesterday at 11:54 I like seeing a stable team selection with round pegs in round holes. Edozie back is interesting, we have lacked a spark coming off the bench. As for playoffs, we have lacked the consistency so far but we do have most of the teams in the hunt left to play and they will have to play each other. At this stage it’s not impossible but inconsistency to date doesn’t bring much in the way of confidence/expectation. 3

Getting to the stage where there is little margin for error. What helps is that with more teams in the mix, they are going to be all taking points of each other. 1
BranfootsLoveChild Posted yesterday at 12:02 Posted yesterday at 12:02 (edited) Bit random but when did we have to start ordering all the food and drinks at the screens? First time for a while I fancied paying their prices for a bovril and a chocolate bar! I mean, surely even the staff who work there can work a card machine? Can't be that difficult for them, surely? Oh.....good to Edozie back. COYS!! Edited yesterday at 12:03 by BranfootsLoveChild 1

Wouldn't bet on it. I was overcharged for a can of IPA because the correct button on the server's screen wasn't working and the supervisor had told him to put all beer in as the more expensive lager. I eventually got an apology from the hospitality manager but I wonder how many people didn’t notice they'd been overcharged at about £1.25 a go. 1
captainchris Posted yesterday at 12:08 Posted yesterday at 12:08 Personally I thought Bragg should at least be on the bench.. 1

I would love to know what he did because i can't believe he didn't do anything....it just does not make any sense.

Is he just not making the squad or is there something more to this, follow up to his injury/concussion. I know Eckert said there were no injury concerns but it makes you wonder when really it felt like he had broken through a few weeks ago.

Could just be because he’s 4th choice in CM and we want a more attacking bench?

obelisk Posted yesterday at 12:34 Posted yesterday at 12:34 Peretz gets away with it again. A lucky keeper.
goodymatt Posted yesterday at 12:34 Posted yesterday at 12:34 Should be 0-1, thankfully they took a touch and Azaz saved us.
Mr X Posted yesterday at 12:35 Posted yesterday at 12:35 Wtf was that from the keeper basic basic stuff that should never happen!
Saint NL Posted yesterday at 12:35 Posted yesterday at 12:35 Prematch confidence is fading, we've barely had a kick
Osvaldorama Posted yesterday at 12:36 Posted yesterday at 12:36 My god peretz is bad with his feet. Gone from one extreme to the other: baz who can kick, but cant make a save, to the exact opposite. 😭

I don’t particularly rate him but as option of bench for Scienza or Fellows then he’d an option at least, very strange 1
Turkish Posted yesterday at 12:39 Posted yesterday at 12:39 Watford a big physical team the sort of games we’ve struggled in this season 2

He's a nothing player, but he's our player, and crazy to have overlooked him completely this season. Something has gone on, perhaps a fractured relationship with a senior player who's no longer here, but who knows.
SNSUN Posted yesterday at 12:40 Posted yesterday at 12:40 Jander thrown to the ground unceremoniously. FK Saints.

saint michael Posted yesterday at 12:44 Posted yesterday at 12:44 We need to start playing the ball behind them. We are back into the fwds having back to goal on attack. 1
coalman Posted yesterday at 12:47 Posted yesterday at 12:47 We're starting to show signs of being able to open them up.
SouSaint Posted yesterday at 12:47 Posted yesterday at 12:47 Lucky not to be behind here tbh. Very poor.
SNSUN Posted yesterday at 12:48 Posted yesterday at 12:48 Watford shoot wide. End to end this, some reasonable build up play from us but lacking final balls. 1
Chez Posted yesterday at 12:49 Posted yesterday at 12:49 Wellington's been done three times now. Oh that's close.
coalman Posted yesterday at 12:49 Posted yesterday at 12:49 If we turn up the intensity in our attacking play a notch then Watford are there for the taking.
obelisk Posted yesterday at 12:49 Posted yesterday at 12:49 Watford keeper with excellent save from Stewart.
