Wasn't he in the Man City academy? Hope he can rediscover the potential that got him in there in the first place.

Barring a continued, consistent, upturn in form I can't see us doing it either. But I do think a top half finish is probable. What would be gutting is to finish one or two points behind 6th and wondering 'What If' we'd beaten the Skates even once... :wave:

Only 7 points off, those teams above have to play each other, and us. It’s in our hands.

I like seeing a stable team selection with round pegs in round holes. Edozie back is interesting, we have lacked a spark coming off the bench.

As for playoffs, we have lacked the consistency so far but we do have most of the teams in the hunt left to play and they will have to play each other. At this stage it’s not impossible but inconsistency to date doesn’t bring much in the way of confidence/expectation.

Getting to the stage where there is little margin for error. What helps is that with more teams in the mix, they are going to be all taking points of each other.

Bit random but when did we have to start ordering all the food and drinks at the screens? First time for a while I fancied paying their prices for a bovril and a chocolate bar! I mean, surely even the staff who work there can work a card machine?  Can't be that difficult for them, surely?

Wouldn't bet on it. I was overcharged for a can of IPA because the correct button on the server's screen wasn't working and the supervisor had told him to put all beer in as the more expensive lager.  I eventually got an apology from the hospitality manager but I wonder how many people didn’t notice they'd been overcharged at about £1.25 a go.

something has gone on behind the scenes, there's no way you freeze out an asset to the point no one really made a concrete offer to sign him. I would love to know what he did because i can't believe he didn't do anything....it just does not make any sense.

Is he just not making the squad or is there something more to this, follow up to his injury/concussion. I know Eckert said there were no injury concerns but it makes you wonder when really it felt like he had broken through a few weeks ago.

Could just be because he’s 4th choice in CM and we want a more attacking bench?

He isn't a better central midfield option than Charles. It isn't a shock he'd miss out when Downes, Jander and Charles are all available.

I don’t particularly rate him but as option of bench for Scienza or Fellows then he’d an option at least, very strange

I'm the same. He's a nothing player, but he's our player, and crazy to have overlooked him completely this season. Something has gone on, perhaps a fractured relationship with a senior player who's no longer here, but who knows.

I was just thinking that. Lets hope they take note for our promotion push next season, also a trend in the Prem.
