Otherwise given it should be a weekend game Bristol City would be great as Bristol is a cracking day out for pubs, in fact of the teams left the only one i wouldn't want is Wolves away, so Wolves it is then 2
Turkish Posted Monday at 15:36 Posted Monday at 15:36 One of the big clubs away please so we can experience the amazing atmosphere at Anfield/Old Trafford/Emirates and get to see the amazing players they have. 8

coalman Posted Monday at 15:42 Posted Monday at 15:42 It has to be Wolves so Armstrong can show us what we're missing. 4
Pamplemousse Posted Monday at 16:31 Posted Monday at 16:31 The worst possible draw would be Port Vale/Bristol City. They play on the Tuesday before the 5th round weekend so good luck to any club having to sort out away tickets in a couple of days

Cup allocation as well. Yeah Bristol wouldn’t be took bad either

Verbal Posted Monday at 18:41 Posted Monday at 18:41 (edited) Fulham away is perfect (for me, as I don't have to leave the house more than five mins before KO). Edited Monday at 18:41 by Verbal
beatlesaint Posted Monday at 18:44 Posted Monday at 18:44 Someone screwed up drawing Newcastle and Man City together. Thankfully all the other big boys have avoided each other so that’s good to see 🙄 12
Harry_SFC Posted Monday at 18:45 Posted Monday at 18:45 Could've been worse. Close ish trip and although unlikely we do have a chance. They only scraped past Stoke. 1
Baird of the land Posted Monday at 18:46 Posted Monday at 18:46 Pretty bad draw. Away from home against a solid prem side, that likely won’t rotate. 2
SouSaint Posted Monday at 18:48 Posted Monday at 18:48 Should be looking at around 4,200ish tickets for that one. 4
SNSUN Posted Monday at 18:57 Posted Monday at 18:57 Just realised the weekend of the cup game is the Saints vs Norwich game which i was going to take the missus to. Might have to go to Fulham with my mate instead as Fulham isn't far. Not the best draw not the worst draw. I'd rather have had a bigger club but that's the luck of the draw.
OneMrsWallace Posted Monday at 18:58 Posted Monday at 18:58 That'll do. Their fans pretty much sit there in silence too, so great chance to take up our full ticket allocation and make lots of noise.
Nogginsfc Posted Monday at 19:06 Posted Monday at 19:06 Would be a decent away day if it was on the Saturday, but they have West Ham on the Thursday before, so will definitely be the Sunday or Monday.
macca155 Posted Monday at 19:06 Posted Monday at 19:06 Great draw, love Fulham away. Walk across Bishops Park in the Spring sunshine. Dress smart and avoid the wine bars, I'm still in shock from buying a round there 😲 They will put a strong side out, as they'll fancy beating Saints. Nevertheless upsets happen in the cup. Saints are moving through the gears now. 4

Actually I cant read a calendar, it's the Wednesday before, so could likely still be the Saturday 🤞

Barton Saint Posted Monday at 19:39 Posted Monday at 19:39 So far in this 50 year anniversary cup run; Beaten a Yorkshire team away (Doncaster = Bradford) Beaten a Midlands team in extra time (Leicester =Villa) Now a South London team virtually in Chelsea! (Fulham = Palace ) 1
Chez Posted Monday at 19:40 Posted Monday at 19:40 Fulham away in the FA cup. Lovely. Big away crowd, half a chance of an upset. Look forward to it. 1

Pamplemousse Posted Monday at 20:08 Posted Monday at 20:08 (edited) 1 hour ago, Nogginsfc said: Actually I cant read a calendar, it's the Wednesday before, so could likely still be the Saturday 🤞 Because it's the Champions League the midweek after and the fixtures won't be known until a couple of weeks time, it's quite likely that all the games involving those teams will be on the Saturday. It depends how flexible UEFA are willing to be. Which often they're not. Not sure if they will schedule any games for the Monday (possibly West Ham v Brentford) but it might be 1 on Friday, and then 3 or 4 each on Saturday/Sunday I think every game will be on TV so it's more likely it'll be on the Sunday than Saturday, simply because more games need to be on a Saturday and ours can be on the Sunday. If cannot be Monday as we play on Wednesday. It also depends if TNT want each game in a unique slot or not. We'll find out by the end of the week anyway but I reckon it'll be the Sunday. Boro got 4,200 in the third round but didn't fill that end. Hopefully SFC will push for the entire Putney End (5,900) but there'll probably be more demand for tickets from home fans for this one so can see them segregating it for Fulham fans/daytrippers. It was £25 tickets for Fulham v Boro. 3

WBA away Wednesday after Fulham is also already on general sale so a great time for anyone who wants to go to away games

Another carve up on the trains for the Fulham trip though.
BARCELONASAINT Posted yesterday at 09:51 Posted yesterday at 09:51 The draw is a decent one IF we are serious about trying to progress to the next round. However the weeks leading up to the cup game will no doubt decide how much of a rotated side we put out! If we continue our good league form and sit in one off the playoff positions or literally just outside then absolute priority has to be given to the league and i would expect a rotated side (certainly not our strongest) 1

It depends on the level of rotation, certainly not the 10 we made on Saturday, that could be disastrous against quality oposition.

We've got a league game the Wednesday after so i'd assume given our season hasn't collapsed it will be something similar in terms of changes.
Noodles34 Posted yesterday at 16:44 Posted yesterday at 16:44 Doesn’t really matter as apparently we can’t win it or we are too worried bout missing the opportunity to remember the season when we finished 5th in the playoffs

Not really a shock that the club want to get back to the financial security of the premier league that playoffs offer.
