Apologies if this has already been discussed. But anyone know if the football club who offered parking / access to their clubhouse, close to the tube, for the Play Off final, are doing the same again? Can’t remember the name of the Club 🤦‍♂️

I think it was Harrow Borough FC in 2017.  Hoping for a club offering parking posted here soon 🤞

Crap that brand new members (half price deal) can buy a future game ticket for this season and then have exactly the same opportunity to buy tickets from Wembley as members who've been a consistent member for 10 + years going to plenty of home and away games too . Got our seats for the Cup but they are in a shit location. Appreciate that the club want to cash in as much as possible but it's a bit of a kick in the bollocks considering we travel up from Devon (3hrs 30 each way ( hence why I'm not a season ticket holder). Anyways rant over! Up the Saints!

Completely agree. Could easily have split the ticket windows out a bit more to reflect loyalty throughout the season.

i went in with about 4500 in the queue .

I'm surprised that we even have that many members this season, assuming it will be mostly members today

That's because the club sold cheap membership who can book a future home or away game and be classed as other loyal members who've been one for years!!

The way I see it, a small number of tickets will make general sale tomorrow in dribs and drabs, as was the case for the Play-off Final. I could have dedicated a day off work to guarantee I got my tickets like I did then, or I could just get a membership to get it over and done with a day early.

I was right at the back of the 5000-strong queue when I joined this morning and when it was my turn, I chose some cheap seats right at the back, so hopefully not too many people feel cheated by my presence in the national stadium next weekend.

I think we're all Saints. There aren't going to be many/any there that don't care passionately about the club, whether they can make it to see us play on a regular basis, or not.

Everyone has their personal and good enough reasons for how often they can or cannot make it to games.

We're all probably as nervous and excited when we kick off, whether we're there or following it on here, or on the wireless as my Grandma in Southampton (her official name) used to say.

This, I’ve got a few with me who are massive Saints fans but can’t get to games due to location, funds, jobs etc but they’ve made an exception for this game - they’ll be singing as loud as anyone even if it takes them a while to catch on to the new songs!

However I do agree there should be some sort of tiering in the potential finals for those who had memberships already and those who got them for Wembley, no idea if that would be possible though.

I'm sure they won't feel cheated at all. Just they (club)could have split it to members who've attended multiple games home and away before new members, have no problem whatsoever with new members putting cash into the club after all we're gonna need all we can get!

It’ll be interesting to see how we set up for this, I can see the likes of Bragg and Stewart starting this so we have Downes, Larin etc for Ipswich a few days later

I doubt it, I think Tonda knows that the much bigger achievement than promotion would be an FA cup win so will prioritise this game for his strongest 11.

Fully agree that a sensible tiering could have been applied to members. I’m a member as I live up north but I’ve clocked up 11 games so far and have had a membership from release date every year for as long as I’ve been going. Does feel a little cold to let someone buy a half price membership and book a future game to be in the same purchase window. Can also understand the club seizing the opportunity to get some extra cash in and it’s a difficult balance for them.

With digital tickets I feel they had time to tier STHs and Members a bit more so that those that attended the most games get first pick of seats. Generally just pleased to have a ticket tbh.

Yeah more tiers with shorter buying windows would make sense, having said that I've got a feeling if we shift all these tickets quickly we should be given more tickets, potentially quite a few more as Man City no opened lots of upper tier so let's get them on sale to anyone and see how we get on now.

Being digital tickets suppose no worries about post they can leave tickets on sale to match day like we do for home games , let's make it a home match

I don’t get the issue, there are plenty of tickets left if anyone wants one.

I think the (reasonable) gripe is more about the quality of seat positions remaining rather than the quantity...?

Unless you have a season ticket you’re miles away from the pitch anyway, I brought mine with a ST yesterday and could only get upper tier.

It was Wealdstone for us in 2017. Harrow may have offered the same facility of course

Definitely. It doesn’t affect me as a ST holder but very poor that some fucker who’s just joined as a member has the same option to buy as a member for last 10yrs plus (as I’d have been without the ST).

As for the practicality why not ? They stagger the tickets normally, and it’s not as if there’s an army of staff to put them all in envelopes to post.

Fair enough, although there are different 'grades of shiteness'... For example, I'm in row 3 of the upper tier, which one would imagine is a bit better than row 54 of the same block. I still think it's a valid point that it would have been 'fairer' for the more loyal / longer-serving members to have had first dibs on the 'less shite' of the 'shite' seats....

Anyway, minor 'issue' in the general scheme of things.... #movingon

Give them to us and then we can sing "shit on the bastards below!"...

I also expect Tonda to put out his best team for the semi final and not save players for the Ipswich match. We're now more or less guaranteed a spot in the play offs and I can't see him gambling a weaker team on the hope results all go in our favour. Anyhow, the way things are going, Millwall could be claiming that automatic spot...though it could all change after this weekend's matches.

At I guess I’d say Season ticket holders and members who’ve been to games this season. Which is fair enough for me. Reword those that have season tickets or go to games 1st with the option of the best seats.

I would buy the last seat, in the back row if it meant my only chance of seeing us in an fa cup semi final . Let’s face it they don’t come round too often.

In 1976 a relative went to The Dell on the Monday after the Palace SF to buy a remaining season ticket for rest of season (which were on sale the week before). He was immediately told no,  all further ST sales had been suspended.

They don't come round too often and I haven't missed a semi or final since my first against Liverpool at WHL, but I'm not watching it from those remaining seats.

I totally agree with season ticket holders and travelling supporters having priority too.

I was in the back row banging the metal walls when we got dicked by Chelsea in 2018 or whenever it was.

I just had a count up of the dots (yes, I know), and only counted 697!

Basically, not many left. We've pretty much sold out, pretty decent effort that.

SWR have announced quite a few extra trains for Semi final day so all looking good for the travelling fans.

Won't get many tickets in final so will be graded and members probably with 4 or 6 aways. Final will be 25,000 allocation

Shouldn't that be more buses? Railway works were scheduled that weekend.

I get what you're saying but in fairness I would imagine there are quite a few fans who haven't bothered with a membership this season but still attend a fair few Saints games. For these folks, they will have taken the half price membership now to guarantee getting a ticket. I don't know but would be surprised if there are thousands of people who have bought memberships now who haven't attended any Saints games to this point this season.

That said, wouldn't have had any objection to the club doing more stages of releasing the tickets to recognise the ones who were members already etc, but club probably keen to get the sales done fairly quickly I guess.

And to add, getting the sales done quickly may mean the club can have better chance of obtaining more tickets in the coming days  so more Saints fans can attend?

Looked earlier, open return working out about £65 each, 2hr 20min, unless anyone seen cheaper

Edit: that's not using Railcards, etc.

Have you looked at split ticket website, and or travelling via Reading

Re new memberships didn't the club separate those from members who had purchased prior at a different Wembley game?

You can go to Paddington (change at Reading). Fastest train takes 1hr 37m.

£32 with railcard so about £48 without.

That's not bad. I was in a similar seat the other end for the women's cup final the year we went up and tried to get the same this year, but it wasn't on sale when I tried so got a more expensive ticket in the block below. It was one solitary ticket left at a good level in the middle of a row!

Hopefully we'll all be moaning again in two week's time!
