I have not seen it covered anywhere but there was an incident in the warm up last night where the Boro goalkeeping coach was collecting long passes in our half, near where our starting XI were warming up.

At one point he seemed to completely take out Jander and there was a heated exchange with a number of our players, and their coaching staff. I was geniunely surprised to see Jander get up unscathed.

Someone mentioned it just a moment ago.

Amusing he has the keep out sign behind him. And the comments on the thread are an opposite of what you see elsewhere, most saying 'is that it?'.

That clip is exactly what needed to come out.

As soon as people actually see that the guy was stood on public land, the correct side of a sign marking where the private land starts, 150m away from a pitch where they are so concerned about security that they they haven't bothered to put a single fence up so it is completely open and visible to anyone strolling past or playing golf, they realise just how utterly ridiculous this whole thing is. It's farcical.

Everyone in those comments just laughing at Boro and saying it's a joke.

Just show that clip to the panel.

I'm guessing all these innocent smoggie victims voting aren't watching SKY on their hookie firesticks and cheating broadcasters out of revenue?

In the meantime a certain golf course near Middlesbrough has had a sudden influx of new member applications from Wrexham, Derby, Norwich, Birmingham, Swansea, Bristol, Sheffield, Preston, Stoke...........

As ever, it's the betting angle from me.......Betfair have no option but to keep their promotion market open. You can currently back Middlesbrough at 10/1 to go up. May be of some interest as to what sort of chance there is of us being chucked out and also of interest to people who think "there is literally zero chance" of that happening as you can of course lay them.....

So why has this "evidence" only come to light now? Surely if true, clubs would have protested to the football league at the time it was alleged to have happened.

Thing is training can be scouted by other teams, just not within 72 hours. As you said, if that did happen why didn't they raise it at the time!

Not within the 72 hours embargo so therefore perfectly acceptable and not 'cheating' or 'spying'.

Drumming up interest in his world cup talkshow with Rio Ferdinand. Definitely watching that

Fuck off did they genuinely send someone to report live from the scene 😂

Yep, they made it sound like he's scaled three fences and was in camoflage in the bushes, when real story is bloke stands by a tree and fence 150 yards away.

BREAKING: The two clubs are Sarisbury Sparks under-11s and Jossy's Giants, who both train on the common, just behind the swings

On public land, watching people play football on a pitch without a fence round it, like you, I or anyone else could

Boro should be expelled from the league for being too fucking stupid to put a fence up

Just saw on Reddit that apparently the two clubs in question are Wrexham (suprise suprise) and Ipswich.

Now what could Wrexham stand to gain by fanning this fire I wonder....

Did that fat twat have anything to say about how they cheated their way to survival with Tevez and Mascherano and robbed Wigan of a £100 million in TV money?

It is. I posted on the match thread when the camera picked him up wearing a camo net and said something like ‘this man and others have been spending at Amazon’, clearly not knowing who he is 😂

Hull owner saying he like the people at Southampton and are a great club.

he said he would not want to comment on any sanctions had a club spied on Hull, but not much difference to diving for a penalty that leads to a 1-0 win

Yep - saw that too. Their reserve keeper basically hacked him down from behind, albeit probably unintentionally.

boro were effectively using 3/4s of the pitch to warm up - bloody cheats if you ask me

Which is a much more sensible view.  A lot of this sanctimonious, hypocritical nonsense coming out in the press really sticks in the throat, particularly when coming from pundits who themselves were well known for doing anything they could on the pitch to con the officials and cheat the opposition.

I've had to stop looking at X for this precise reason. Such a heavy focus on this situation from random journos, celebs and all and sundry. Henry Winter going in hard, for example.

It's all quite ridiculous and such a pile-on.

I reckon the skates must have been confused with the Henry Winter one. Not sure whether to take delight in him saying were cheats or lose the head at him calling us a loyal and vocal fanbase.

100% this.  In my view, diving for a penalty is worse.  This directly effects the score line whereas we possibly had a sneak peak at their corner routine!!

The more "evidence" they try to scrape up, the longer the process will take and the less chance of any change to the outcome.

Why do other clubs need to pass info to Boro (unless they pass info directly to the EFL)

Why didn’t they do this sooner? Makes little sense

The media is pretty horrific.

Take out the muppet doing solo videoing in his own time on an iPhone and we’d be talked about as a phenomenal team, phenomenal rise up the table etc.

The way it’s now being portrayed you’d think we’d have been doing it for years with sound techs, microphones and bugging changing rooms.

It’s pathetic now

If this is true, why didn't they say anything at the time?

Why would they wait for someone else to flag it before they presented their vital dossiers? Especially Wrexham, who we last played at the beginning of April, and who would surely have raised it then when there was still time for them to benefit from getting a place in the playoffs?

I smell bullshiiiiiiiiiiiiit

Even if we did it outside of the 72 hour 'embargo' we would still be in breach of Regulation 3.4 (albeit a lesser misdemeanor)

Yes and I imagine it is being coordinated by their chairman, especially as he was seen phoning Simon Jordan mid show yesterday and he’s now changed his tune on what he “thinks” of it.

Seems to have been phoning in a few favours with a lot of his media acquaintances in the last 24 hours.
