Look closer and make of it what you WILL

So casually cruel in the name of being honest

Has Will Salt been dragged back into it, and more allegations made ?

Maybe there were certain promises made in exchange for being honest but these are now causally cruel with the outcome

maybe Tonda and Saints was a masterpiece untIl They tore it up

not saying this is FACT by maybe someone now feels like a crumpled up piece of paper

If you were the slightest bit ITK you would understand that I’d rather be in a group of 10  and have some facts than a group of 100 and talk about them

Can’t see that holding up given the club publicly backed him 😅

My understanding is the club are aware of said punishment but are considering options for appeal. Its not as harsh though as people fear. All I really know.

If you keep saying "something will happen next week" every single week then eventually you will get your moment of "look I told you so".

Unfortunately for you most of us aren't as thick as you seem to think we are.

Rob Edwards has been reported in the Telegraph for some time as well.

Honestly it is fucking pathetic.

I think if someone flipped a coin, MB’s sources would confirm it was either going to be heads or tails, then when it actually landed it’d be the ace of spades.

'Sack' someone for gross misconduct six months after it happened?  Were the club not aware it was gross misconduct in May?  I think even the dumbest solicitor would have a field day if that were to happen.

If it was MB's coin it would never land, just disappear into thin air.

I have completely lost confidence in the FA and consider that they must now completely review their entire disciplinary process , a belief greatly enhanced by the Man City fiasco, which I now hope they lose.

Man City’s case is between them and the Premier League. The FA have nothing to do with that, they’re a completely separate body with a different remit.

City could, and probably should, be subsequently charged by the FA under the same rule Tonda is charged under, bringing the game into disrepute.

I think I read somewhere that the FA said that they would be taking a look. Nothing to look at properly until the appeal process has concluded, which could take years of course.

I don't think they can charge an entire club with that, just individuals.

I could be wrong though.

The FA aren’t involved in the Man City case at the moment though. So saying ‘I hope they lose’ doesn’t make sense.

I totally agree. It’s simply nastiness.

As a general rule most users understand that the veracity - or otherwise - of anything posted on this forum has always ( and probably will always) be conditional. Opinions are personal. Respect them or don’t respect them but attacking the individual for daring to express them? I think that’s not Saintly.

It’s also commonly accepted that announcements on the OFFICIAL SFC SITE  is the ultimate truth test.  Until then all SFC related posts here on this chat forum are opinions suppositions and, quite often thankfully, light hearted entertainment. Even the posts abusing other posters can be regarded by some as, apparently, “ entertainment “ - unless you are the one being abused that is. It’s distasteful entertainment but there’s always an audience for it.

So- MB do write whatever you like. My view on the veracity is secondary frankly. You are a content creator here.

By ridiculing do you mean bringing up his previous posts and holding him to account for what he has said?

Why are you deciding who gets to "write whatever they like"?

We all can. And personally I am not stopping anyone writing anything. Crack on, chaps.

But if some are utterly full of shit and pretending to be informed by "predicting" obvious (and widely reported) things to happen at obvious times then the rest of us can call that out.

But what makes you so certain MB isn't passing on what he's been told in good faith?

Just because the info correlates with what has already been rumoured doesn't prove he's just making it up, so why do you have to be such a cunt to him about it? Why can't you just ignore him if you don't believe it's legit?

It's no wonder many of the previous ITK posters don't bother anymore if they're just gonna get abused for it.

Because he’s consistently wrong and therefore if he’s genuinely being passed on info it’s not in good faith, it’s on a windup.

Man City’s case is between them and the Premier League. The FA have nothing to do with that, they’re a completely separate body with a different remit.

The same could be said of the FA's relationship with the EFL. The EFL have already dealt with a disciplinary case regarding an obscure rule which only applies in the EFL.

Tonda is being charged with an FA rule for bringing the game into disrepute, which was exactly the same for Bielsa. That is the only relevant legal precedent for the FA. Bielsa received no punishment and was even given the FIFA Fair Play Award at the end of that season

The breach of that EFL rule, which doesn't apply to any other leagues, the FA Cup or international games under the jurisdiction of the FA, has already been dealt with by the EFL.

If, for example, another league in this country decided to introduce a 1-week rule instead of a 72-hour one and someone in that league broke the rule, I think it would be very unlikely that the FA would give their manager a long ban from the game, because it would just be an internal matter for that league.

As for moral considerations, many would argue that everything in sport should be done openly and honestly and that nothing should be done secretively. FIFA took this view in the World Cup finals and made a rule that final training sessions had to be open to the public. Any team holding their final training session in secret would have been punished. For that reason England had to change their flight plans to Mexico. So, you could argue that Middlesbrough were trying to hide something, which is not being open and honest. FIFA would take that view.

Not to mention he said it wasn't as bad as we thought and we were appealing, when that was wrong he said it was a long ban and we would hear on the Friday or next week (wrong) and has now moved goalposts to next week. It's hardly indicative of someone who has a clue.

Forum gold.

The "why dont you just ignore it" routine. Well, I'm not forcing you to reply to me sunshine. Feel free to take your own advice.

The pearl clutching at "abuse" in the same post as calling me a cunt. Classy, do tell us more about how terrible abuse is.

If you think "Tonda is going to get banned" is "good faith inside information" then god help us all. I could have told you he's getting banned the day after the play off decision. But knock yourself out on the hero worship.

Lastly, we have had some great ITKs in the past - Guan and K Billy and others. They were brilliant and funnily enough not needy bullshitters. They were fantastic contributors to the forum.

Others, not so much.

So I hope and trust that you understand and forgive my reticence?
