LordHester Posted yesterday at 11:39 Posted yesterday at 11:39 How about we get Will Salt to hide behind a tree outside FA headquarters, see what he can find out? 1 6

Rumour around Soho Square today that Tonda has been exonerated and the FA has performed a reverse takeover on the minus four, so we are currently third. 1

Tom & Gerry Posted yesterday at 16:48 Posted yesterday at 16:48 We've lost good Managers before and loads of great players and yet we've survived and never plumbed the depths of other South Coast clubs, so what is there to be pessimistic about?

He isn't I think, if someone threatens to kill you, that does kind of make you a victim doesn’t it? There are some proper nutters out there and you never know just how far they will take it. It is bad enough having to carry the weight of the current consequences and possibly still end up losing his job without having to deal with death threats too. Let’s not forget what actually happened to cause this and how it has been blown up out of all proportion! 2

bugenhagen Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago This is so predictable: Tonda will be hit with a massive ban (6-12 months). SR will be caught completely off guard as they did not see this coming. During the appeal-process, Tonda will not be allowed on the touchline, and we will stumble along with some sort of a Gardner/Lallana combo. Then the appeal gets dissmissed, and SR (who can not believe their appeal did not go trough) will start from scratch with the search for a new manager. Then they will appoint someone who is very different from Tonda in style and setup. It migh not happen exactly like that, it is mostly set up to illustrate my faith in SR and those in charge 😄 4
musesaint Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago 300 pages of this drama coming up! Will it pass 400?
NewYorkSaint Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago FA has been dreadful through this process. It can't be in anyone's interest to take this long. But it HAS to be coming to an end now. Pretty sure we'll know by the end of the week. Oh, and the immortal Bob Marley has a prediction for us all...

Then watch Tonda finish the season in the Bundesliga and being a European club manager at the end of next season.

West Dean FC Legend Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago 50 minutes ago, bugenhagen said: Then they will appoint someone who is very different from Tonda in style and setup. This is the bit that sounds true and depressing above all of the other problems, whoever it is will probbably try and get players who don't like playing in positions and styles to play in those positions and styles.....it seems very, very, likely. I'm not laughing.
hypochondriac Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I'll be sad that he's banned and not our manager anymore but in a couple of years I'll still be supporting saints (probably still I nthe championship) and this episode will be forgotten. Not bigger than the club

Not bigger than the club Yeah, it's not really about Tonda. It's about the fact that we have a good thing going (that SR has stumbled upon through sheer luck), and when Tonda leaves the chances are that the good thing is over as SR will have to start making decisions, and they will get the wrong appointments and player recruitments again and again. 3

Most of that will be irrelevant if we don't go up. We will struggle to win promotion next year if we don't this year even if Tonda was still in charge. 1

Haven’t you checked your DMs yet this morning? What AB said at the meet last week was right - so it’s what we’d heard, and the timeline for the announcement stacks up too
obelisk Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Can't believe that the FA blazers would want to spoil one more expenses-paid outing tonight by having to be sober enough to talk to the press about whatever draconian punishment they might fancy imposing. Tomorrow afternoon after a long lie-in would be my guess.
