Fabrice29 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Little bit more of him here. Quick feet and good poachers instinct. Typical City striker really. Don't think we'll get much of the Stewart finishes out of nothing but should enjoy playing with Azaz, Scienza and Fellows I would suggest.

Yeah not much interest from the sound of it, was hoping Newcastle would at least give us £20M and we could move on but they chose to buy elsewhere. Accounting wise think he's valued at £10M on our books having completed 2 years of a 4 year contract, need to cover at least that and get wages off Edited 3 hours ago by Football Special 1

Pilchards Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Didn’t really know much about here until I watch these match highlights which was played recently. He’s always looking for opportunities in the box and he suits our style for sure. Not sure what he’s like beating the offside track like we scored on Saturday but he’s certainly a poacher like Larin. Excited with this one. 👏⚽️ Edited 1 hour ago by Pilchards

It's part of the reason that Wolves signed Adam Armstrong. They knew they were going down so planned for life in The Championship by signing someone who was proven at this level. Why is it that Saints always have to do things the 'unproven' way? Yes, he might be superb, but he might also be absolutely dire. It's a massive gamble. Personally, I'd rather we went and got someone with a proven record at this level. Surely, the likes of Piroe (who can't have a future at Leeds) would be a safer bet? 1

Maybe a year older though he will have improved that aspect.

Isn't Larin a proven goalscorer at this level? I don't really disagree by the way.

I think Stoke, as a club just seems to have a habit of bringing out the negative aspects of a player..

Convict Colony Posted 55 minutes ago Posted 55 minutes ago But BBD is a proven championship goalscorer !!!!! They guarantee goals goals 1
Osvaldorama Posted 51 minutes ago Posted 51 minutes ago I remember watching a couple of Stoke games and thinking HCDAJFU. Gamble worth taking imo. If we can bin off BBD and find a good home for archer, maybe the plan is this guy on loan + a new perm signing?

This signing seems another sign of saints trying to be too clever and do things on the cheap.... Time will tell...
KingInDaSouf Posted 6 minutes ago Posted 6 minutes ago I see Arthur Dennis' reported move to Coventry has fallen through. Would make a decent Shea replacement and you'd think a deal wouldn't be hard to do with Goztepe. It'd be nice to get some benefit from this multi club nonsense.
Saint NL Posted 4 minutes ago Posted 4 minutes ago Arthur Dennis sounds like a proper old school footballer. I expect to see him smoking a cigarette at half time. 1
