On the face of it, yes. But he’s already played half a dozen times for Borussia and has an international cap for Italy already. That would suggest he’s not your average 18 year old.  Plus he’d have an experienced leader alongside him if he played.

But I would be hoping for a more experienced option, personally.

Full international is a bit rich. One cap, one measly cap, and he was sent off in less than half an hour. 😂

Correction - "has played" - less than ten games doesn't strike me as a consistent performer or someone we should be actively going after to get us out of the Championship. 😂

In the last couple of hours on Transferfeed, Justin Devenny still of interest to us:

”Celtic and Southampton are competing to sign Justin Devenny. The midfielder is available for approximately €7m and was not included in Pierre Sage’s first two matchday squads of the new Premier League season. It is understood that he could leave Selhurst Park before the summer window closes. Devenny has one year left on his current Crystal Palace contract”

One assumes this is all leading up to Sport Republic declaring that Schlottenbeck was the THB replacement all along and this nextCB to join is in fact a Quarshie replacement, i.e. 4th choice behind Stephens and Wood...?

Deep down I don't think they're looking to oust Stephens from the starting eleven, but I'm still hoping....

Justin Devenny, a player who the Saints have been interested in for a long time. The Saints consider the 22-year-old a potential replacement if Charles leaves.
