I'm not so sure it's a foregone conclusion as you're suggesting.

The club has already been very heavily punished and we supposedly have some very good lawyers on the case in regards to the FA investigation.

Let’s hope so, but as I said before non of us thought we would be kicked out of the playoff final… or very few!

One of the things I like about Tonda is how he got a tune out of Archer, Edozie, etc. when others have failed

This – would be amazed if Peretz was signed without there being a pretty firm plan for Ramsdale already.

Also snagging Peretz for a good price might mean we lower the asking price for Ramsdale, attracting more buyers etc

I think Fellows is fine.  He didn't have the best season and his form certainly dipped at the end but an upgrade on him wouldn't be a priority for me, especially if Matsuki stays as well.

The frustrating thing for me is that he seemed to change his game and try and add some variation - instead of taking on his man and getting to the byline to cross he seemed to cut inside too much.  Stuff that - he's probably the best in the division at crossing so stick with that.  Not sure if he'd been told to cut inside more but I don't think he's at his most effective when he does it.

I think he tends to cut inside from too deep a position so just ends up in a non-dangerous position in midfield. Perhaps he needs to vary between getting to the by-line and putting over crosses or cutting in level with the edge of the penalty area and maybe getting a shot away or a hard ball towards the back post.  I'm hopeful there is a lot more to come from him and feel he has more potential than Edozie.

Are we actively looking to get rid of Baz? Is there any indication that he would be willing to stay as back up keeper?

We should be. If 'Project Baz' was all about signing potential and selling him on for a profit, then this summer is our last opportunity to get any kind of half decent fee for him before he becomes a free agent.

I'd say that was true of Larin and perhaps Matsuki but the two you've mentioned have performed better in previous seasons. Archer scored 11 in half a season previously and Edozie scored 6 and looked dangerous before getting clobbered at Norwich two years ago.

Peretz, Bazunu, Long.

Obviously we'd be royally fucked if Peretz gets an injury, but as a championship side, can't really ask for much more than that.

As it happens, I think we'll shift Bazunu and get a new back up.

Personally I don't want Bazunu at the club. He'd no doubt be on a high wage so let's get rid and stop shoving that money down the drain.

Me either, but we need to find a buyer. Who is gonna take a gamble on him? Maybe Russ at Leicester?

I'm kinda excited to see if he can get a tune out of Downs

How far off are Wright or Moody?

Wright had a solid year with Stanley and one could argue he could make the step up. I'd say Moody needs a season or two out on loan to be suitably assessed.

Did he? In Edozie's case I am not sure it was much of a tune. As my dear old man used to say when it was my turn to select the music in the car "that's not a tune, it's just noise."

Perhaps a season as third choice keeper doesn't do a young keeper any favours (not enough game time) so Wright will go out on loan again?

Our fishy friends might like to take him back?
