Pretty poor really.

Sounded like a very panicky performance from the start to the finish.

Long way to go though, so I'm not going to join the ''our season is over'' brigade.

We really cannot afford many more results like this though, but luckily the results haven't been ''too'' bad for us.

We've got a week off the league now, a chance to bring in some new talent and go forward. We're definitely a bit short in the wide impact areas. (seems a bit greedy that I'm saying that when we have Chamberlain and Lallana to our disposal)

Why do you have to say this ? It is really does belittle the suffering of people feeling suicidal for really bad reasons or because they are suffereing genuine mental illness.

I expect more from a moderator.

Coming from you going on about "gravity of situations"...It is only football after all.

It was a mildly sarcastic comment exaggerating my predictions of what people would say after todays result. If you heard someone say that in the pub, would you respond the same way?

Still only 5 points off top and 2 points off auto-promotion with a game in hand.

Damage limitation.

That was a statement by the Putting-things-into-perspective Party

Yep, great point and all that really needs to be taken from today. Time to forget this result

Let's lol @ portsmouth not paying their electric bill.

Disappointed that we have again lost after giving away a stupid goal early on. Those things change everything because you're running after the score from 15 minutes in. We have to stop this. If we can't then we have to put the players concerned into the reserves until they learn that soft absurd goals could cost the club promotion. For me Davis has to be dropped until he can learn to command at least his 6 yard box.We must be able to afford a keeper who does not make those elementary mistakes every 5 or 6 games.

Bad day at the office but put the razor blades away!

We're bound to slip up over the course of the season, but results elsewhere mean it's not the end of the world.

Win our game in hand and we're back in the automatic promotion places. Simples.

Make no mistake about it though, today was a bad performance against a side we should be beating.

Full credit to Tranmere though. From the sounds of it, they fully deserved the win. Fair play.

Bit of a kick in the teeth.

Re the result :

Truly f**king sh*t. The only consolation was Huddersfield not winning.

1 point from 6 at a critical stage of the season. And all because a single player is missing.

Adkins and Cortese have some hard, hard thinking to do.

If you truly believe that you are even thicker than I thought you were.

This was a very very poor result.

The previous manager was slated for it. This one should also be slated for it.

Not good enough.

Close the book, move on and in future let's play like a team worth several times its nearest rival.

Thank You.

(Oh and can we have a creative midfielder in the window in case Lallana is out for a while?? And can we give Bart a run in goal to see how he goes?)

Disappointing but not suprising. We are a team with flair, not cloggers.

Was out with for a drink with Drew Surmans dad last night, both still massive Saints fans. Mot teams in the Championship play football and he feels Saints are capable of doing just what Norwich have.

I am confident we will be promoted and rather that slit my wrists I look at the table and we are still in the mix. Lambert, Norwich manager tells his team that if you want promotion you must NOT lose two league games in a row.

This is nonsense. How is dropping Davis going to bring Lallana back? The fact that Lallana wasn't playing is the reason we let the goals in and didn't score. Duh!!!

It's time for a change in goal. Davis cost us the game today with the first goal. The fact that he is captain is a joke he can't even run his own goal area. When the ball is in the penalty area between the goalkeeper and the centre back the goalkeeper has to come off his line and take charge. As good a shot stopper as he is the rest of his dificiencies are going to cost us promotion. Bialkowski should now be given a run.

Are some people guilty of having ridiculous expectations? We were never going to win all our games left after Oldham. It was also on the cards that we would draw a few and have the odd loss when we were expected to win. So a normal football season then? These things happen!! After all, if one of 'those things' hadn't happened on May 1st 1976 we'd have never won the cup

Can we stop the razor blade comments, everyone ?

They are childish, and I'll wager not a single person on here really feels suicidal about todays result.

Why cant you lot see a difference between intense frustration and suicidal tendencies ?

Possibly because (and I know this is a difficult concept for you to grasp) he wasn't being serious?

Can outplay the best teams in this league, but fail to out-battle even the poorest of sides. The type of performance which come the end of the season is going to cost.

If Puncheon and Conolly are not going to feature anymore then get shot and bring in someone who will, preferably some decent midfielders which might help us dominate this area in these type of games.

Seriously, how many goals are attributable to him this season? I can't think of another one. There probably is but I can't think of it.

He is the least of our worries.

Lambert's mistakes are costing us far more.

And Bart is dodgy as hell.

Would Lallana have played in goal or at centre back, where according to reports the goals were conceded from.

YOU should have a really hard bit of thinking before you post some of the utterly ridiculously, over reactive, knee jerk tripe

you post on here like "promotion being gone" type post despite being 2 points from 2nd with game in hand.

You are the best ever example of Drama Queen who needs to get a grip on reality before posting...

We should be beating utterly ****e Sunday League Pub Teams like Tranmere. Not good enough and a total embarrassment considering the players we had out there. The others at the top must be ****ing themselves laughing. Are we a one man team? No Lallana no goals.

what a stupid post.....we thrashed huddersfield yet they got on with their job and now above us....we beat bournemouth, again, lost players, got on with the job and now 2nd....we will have to do the same, get the man u game out of the way carry on with the job and we will win many more

Hav'nt really moved on in any great leaps and bounds.

We remain 'standing still' despite all that is available to aid our manager.

At least look at it this way...

since Pardew left we have climbed 10 places, and are 12 points further away from relegation, 3 points closer to automatic, and point close to top - we are improving!! ;)

People can try and spin it all they want and quote stats until they are blue in the face but we should be getting more then 1 point from playing Notts County and Tranmere. Nobody deserves to win a game based off of the size of the club or the players they have. They deserve to win based on the performance on the pitch and our performances didn't deserve the wins. Simple as that.

I think we need a creative central midfielder and a pacey striker badly.
