we sounded pathetic for at least half of that match...got out of jail I think....

well done for the change around....and brighton drew too...so another 2 points back on them..

play as bad as bad in the first half on sat and we COULD well get punished more

another away game out of the way mind...

We wouldn't have won that game last year.

Even when we took our best player on the night off, we kept battling and won it. There must be such a good ethic and belief in the team right now.

This result bodes very well for us indeed.

We could well win 7-6 on Saturday, Peterborough's goals record, both scored and conceded, is amazing. In terms of tonight, it was a sign of potential champions. Play absolutely **** and win. Massive result, the biggest of the season IMO.

Right so who's got the humble pie, just a small slice here please...! Did well to turn it around I guess, and to score in the 90th is a good sign too, still not as convincing as I would like - but 3 points is 3 points. Well done NA and the lads.

It's the score at the final whistle that counts. At least we are battling until that whistle blows. Two goals from Rickie bodes very well. Lallana and Forte to come into team. We just have to battle on and not let other teams results get to us. Well done lads.

That is the sort of win that seperates playoff hopefulls from automatic chasers.

Something that we haven't been able to do in past seasons, so that is a huge result.

In the context i see this as a bigger result than our 6-0 at Oldham, as it shows we have the mental grit and fitness to grind out a win at the death at a place like Exeter.

Really, really pleased. Saturday should be a laugh

5-6 to us anyone?

so are you turning or not?!!

Lol at all the strokes and heart attacks on here in the match thread.

We hit the bar three times, scored twice and their goal was a goalkeepers error,

I was never worried :smug:

So happy. Shame that all the other teams around us won, especially seeing as last few weeks when we haven't been winning they haven't either, but hey.

That was a sign of a top team, firstly to play badly and win, but mainly to keep going and score in the last minute.

Glad we are back to scoring ways too, without lallana recently weve lacked a lot going forward so to turn it around is brilliant.

Bring on Peterborough, I will bet my house on that one being anything but 0-0 !

I'll be interested to hear from those at the match. Did n'Guessan give us more width and help Lambert by allowing him to get into the more central positions he doesn't seem to have been in recently? People were complaining about HAmmond coming on too, but I guess Dany's legs were going.

Just the result we needed in my opinion. It's great to win by several clear goals but you have to be able to grind out results as well. We did that tonight. It shows resilience, confidence to keep going forward and mental strength. We will need all of that to get out of this league.

Many ways to look at this game.

We did win, we did fight back. But why oh why did we find ourselves in this position ? We have a lot more games like this coming up.

Thank f**k for the result. At one point almost the whole top 8 or 9 (except Brighton) were winning except us. We have to keep up with the competition now, one slip-up could prove vital. Thank heavens we have much better GD than most around us.

This won't be surprising to hear but just had a call from someone at the game and apparently we "absolutely robbed them". Lambert's goals were a couple of crackers though and in the long run getting him back on form is what we need. Let's face it he almost dragged us into the playoffs on his own last season.

Why ? Are you anticipating all these teams winning every game they play ?

Be quite interesting when they play each other and they will all take points off each other believe me.

This is the sort of game we regularly cock up, especially when we're 1-0 down with an hour to go. It's a great mark for the team to go on and win that. I'm bloody ecstatic tbh, more so than when we won 6-0.

Love wins like these.
