But how is any of that going to happen without SR going?

They're done. They're finished. There is no way back for them here, the damage they've done is irreversible at this stage and the trust is gone.

They have proven time and time and time and time again - they cannot make the right decisions. They are incapable.

If I had any power I'd ensure they'd never be able to make a decision again, but sadly they will probably do so in the coming months. 

They need to go. It doesn't get better when they are still hanging around. Dragan needs to honour his words and fall on his sword within the next few months.

SR selling up is the only way any of those things happens.

Here’s the big irony for me: If Dragan put the kind of unwatchable garbage on his cable network that his team serves up regularly he’d have gone tits-up years ago. The announced crowd today was 27,000 but it certainly didn’t look that high, and it’s going to get worse.

He has to know that nothing will change in the window, no matter how much we spend. It would just be slapping more lipstick on the tactical pig that SR have brought us. Any creative, forward-focused players we do sign are quickly sucked into the vortex, lose confidence, and turn into liabilities themselves.

We just got our arses handed to us by a far cheaper team, riddled with injuries. With 27% of the possession they were 2-0 up. Smell the coffee and ditch your architects, Dragan, before it’s too late – if it isn’t already.

I remember when they first came into the club, there was a lot of tug and pull internally during their first 6-12 months proper.

Matt Crocker was dumped, Ralph was dumped, a fair few analysts and scouts were also dumped. Some just walked because they didn't like the direction it was going.

Seeing as I have a season ticket and have already paid I’ll follow my own advice - think it’s almost a duty. Feel at least 20 years too old to be behaving this pathetically but it needs to happen. It has to get toxic for SR. They are utterly toxic and need it back at them.

Spot on. They’ve been incredibly lucky so far with the lack of fan comeback in the face of their shocking management of this club. I think they know that we are fairly passive as a fan base too which is why they’ll continue to take the piss and use the club as an experiment, until we stop being so passive and compliant. It’s time to be heard

Interesting you say about the analysts. If I remember that right, that was due to a restructuring that was going to ‘centralise resources across the group’. Add to that people like Spors and Goldie now have ‘Group’ level jobs, even though Saints is their priority, that really isn’t good enough. We need to have a dedicated team of experts that breathe the club if we want to get back up to the Premier League and not be distracted by duties in Turkey, France, Mali, or wherever the look to invest next. Like I said, even if they are just a few hours a week working for the other clubs, that’s still too much of a distraction from what our club needs.

One thing to add about Sport Republic. When we were relegated I felt that there was a real danger that Ankersen & Co. were under the impression that getting promoted from the Championship was a piece of piss, and act accordingly. Well, here we are…

What it boils down to is that Sports Republic in my opinion do not want to win games at any price. They want to play a certain way, sign a particular type of player and get success with a certain philosophy. It is my view that sports Republic would rather lose striving for the type of success they want than essentially admit defeat and do things the 'wrong' way even if it results in being more successful.

Tonda never came out for his post-match presser until about 6pm, with everyone wondering why (had he been sacked was the chat)

Basically saying Tonda came into football as an analyst, but has only stats to fallback on as he has absolutely no experience to use as a manager. He is doing his work experience at a club like saints which is remarkable.

Jo saying he is showing his weakness as he just cannot manage a game. Fine when it works from the off, but now clubs have seen his team set up, Tonda clearly has no way to manage changes in-game, or start with something different.

More leadership has to come from the pitch. The senior players should have grabbed the flow of the game when Stewart scored and do what needed to be done and get the ball up to him quickly.

They do not see Tonda changing and he is happy with the squad (and academy), which may be a signal of incomings going forward. They believe his is just not a strong manager at all. Very much a club yes-man, but he will get himself sacked.

In summary - Tonda vanished for an hour after the game seemingly trying to evade interviews, eventually did them starting with Sky. Pulled apart Tonda’s ludicrous assertion that’s it a game they win most times based on XG, frustrated with lack of urgency after Stewart scored and plodding play when urgency was needed. Just a sense that overall he’s a young lad being used as a patsy for SR’s bonkers experiments. As @AlexLaw76 added, his analyst badkground in no way prepares him for the ups and downs of a job this size. Hence the players don’t respect him either and the lack of on-pitch leadership comes up yet again.

Also would love to be a fly on the wall, not only in the boardroom, but on the wall of Rasmus home, to see what they talk about when it comes to Saints. How they think it is going, what their vision is and how they think things are going. It just seems like madness. I suppose they saw us get promotion after relegation and must have thought they knew how to do it, and thought they could repeat. It is clear that even though we got promotion, we under achieved with the squad we had, and this season with a weaker squad than last time in the championship, we are really showing that we are being mismanaged top to bottom!

Ive never wanted this puppet as the manager, and thoight it was a little strange at the time when they moved Lallana to the U21s, because he was clearly the only person in that group of coaches with any significant playing experience/knowledge. 

SR / Spors (wrongly at the time and obviously wrongly in hindsight) must of thoight that the "team" of coaches who were doing ok for (what was it, 8 ish games) the U21s could translate their methods, procedures and processes to the first team. 

Theres a massive difference between a bunch of 18, 19, 20 years olds still learning and still trying to make a career and a bunch of fully-fledged and negatively experienced older  professionals who even just at our club have seen more managers, better managers and more experienced managers. It was like putting an apprentice in charge of the business. 

SR, Spors, Eckert, the whole fucking lot of them need to fuck off now. Id even take relegation over them staying another season. 

I cant get to games any more but my passion for this club has never dwindled. Eckert looks like a man who has the passion of a dead man who when he was alive was the most boring person on the planet. He doesn't care like we do. Hes not even smart enough to bluff. 

Regardless of how he left, Lallana would of got more out of this team than Eckert. And hed look like he cared whilst doing it too. 

Hopefully whilst writing this hes been sacked😂

I agree,  I don't doubt a small crowd will be there, perhaps none of the Sports Republic mob will be in attendance anyway. Remember they all showed up at QPR away after the Still sacking (including Rasmus) 

I forget we're still paying Still as well, what a shocking waste of resources
