Would be surprised if we haven't offered him a new deal. Disappointed as well if not. Saw a quote from him saying he loves it here. 1

Saw a quote from him saying he loves it here. I think he’s been absolutely quality does he ever have a bad game? Personally I think I actually prefer him to KWP walkers peters looked good going forward with mazy runs but Bree gives you better defence and is more of a goal threat, personally give me that over a full back who plays like a winger all day 3
spyinthesky Posted April 6 Posted April 6 I must admit that I thought Bree was an 'average' Championship player and not a patch on KWP. I still think that KWP is better going forward but if we had paid £2-£3m for him in January I would have said he represented good value. Both him, Perez and a proper CF have re-invigerated the team. 2
Whitey Grandad Posted April 6 Posted April 6 I've always liked him. Strikes the ball well. A proper footballer. Probably never going to be a top international but one of the first on your team sheet. 2

And his defensive duties often went missing. Whereas Bree just looks solid ... stops the crosses one end and is actually pretty good at crossing/corners the other end. Don't know the background behind him leaving on loan for Charlton at the start of the season but the club probably wanted to distance itself from the players of the previous season. Hopefully those bridges have been repaired because he's got such a good engine and now one of the first names on the teamsheet. 2
davefizzy14 Posted April 6 Posted April 6 I've always liked Bree. Solid defensively and chips in with vital goals and lovely ball over the top for Ross to score on Saturday 😊 2

Baird of the land Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Always been a fan of older school fullbacks who are solid defensively and aerially. Hopefully they can convince him to re-sign. 6

Along with peretz these two have made a huge difference to our defense 3
saintant Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Another strong performance from Breezy. He's been a revelation. 1
Lee On Solent Saint Posted April 7 Posted April 7 It felt like a gamble bringing him back in, but he's made a massive difference to the way we play. Not sure about him should we go up, but that's a problem for another day. 1
Crab Lungs Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Massive impact, like Peretz and to an extent Larin. He really just epitomises the term ‘good solid footballer’. Wouldn't be adverse to him getting a chance in the Premier League, if we do go up. From what I remember, he never really got a run of games but when he did play, he didn’t look completely out place. 4
St Chalet Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Let’s bump this thread. Interesting to look back on the reactions when he joined. 1
Colinjb Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Re-signing Bree would be an amazing next step. What a great pro. 2
bpsaint Posted June 5 Posted June 5 The elation of signing Peretz on a permanent will be dampened slightly for if we don’t keep hold of Bree,
Turkish Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Weird how we signed two right backs and let him leave when he's shown since January he's miles better than both of them. Not really had a decent run in the team the whole time he's been here until now, but shown what a good player he is. We wont get better if he goes. 9

TBF Roerslev only made 9 appearances (I think) and that was when the whole team were a bit shite and not playing that well. I'm still not sure what kind of player he is. He didn't really impress me at all when he did play though. 1

Will Still was ahead of his time 1 1

Harry_SFC Posted June 5 Posted June 5 He seems to be liking a lot of posts on Instagram today. Got a feeling it's done. 5
Dr Who? Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Would have been great to get the hat trick of signings today, but think this will be announced with Mannings extension.
Willo of Whiteley Posted June 5 Posted June 5 I heard off a mate it was done. Not saying I’m ITK but it was the same guy that mentioned to me about Aaron Ramsdale in early August and Ryan Fraser later that month two years ago. 🤷🏻♂️ Got the impression it was more a case of “spread the good news out, let it simmer etc”. 2
James Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Assume he’s staying given he is not on the list. Should hear soon.

Soton7 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Excellent news. He makes our back line so much more balanced. Plus he seems like a decent chap too.
S-Clarke Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago He's been incredible since he's been back, he's just reliable and steady - not flashy and honestly that's sometimes all you need. We're not reinventing the world playing Fellows RB or anything daft anymore, we have a RB for RB. Simple game really. 5
Hopper Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Breezy is a modern cult hero. Just gets on with the job and fans love him for it. Glad to see everything turn out the way it has after Mad Nate's words about him 'Not wanting to go back to Southampton'.
saintant Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago 5 minutes ago, CSA96 said: Great interview. Another key signing to help us go again next season. 2
Eire Saint Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Great news. Solid player. Chips in with a worldie on occassion. Defence nearly locked in. THB the only variable at the moment.
CSA96 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Basically the only good thing that came of Mad Nate's mini-era. Probably the only signing he actually chose, as well... Edited 5 hours ago by CSA96 1
Willo of Whiteley Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Three years is a pretty solid contract. Good deal for the player and us.
Miltonaggro Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Really good news towards project auto, Bree has become a player who will give you a 7/8 performance every game, Mr 100%. 3

Saint Scott Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Brilliant news, he was tremendous last season. We must make sure we get adequate cover for him though 1
Cabrone Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Another great signing and together with Peretz + Larin will help persuade any waverers. We are building for a top 2 challenge.
