disconnect Posted yesterday at 09:53 Posted yesterday at 09:53 They currently have much better players than the rest of the league, however, lets see how that looks in 3 months time. If he does sign someone like Smallbone, he'd be one of the better players in the league, especially good for a team who with better players will be passing it around their opponents. If any other League One managers are watching though - just press their defenders and keeper - even if you're only getting 30% possession, you'll almost certainly intercept a suicide pass within the box and score a tap in. 3

That, and the threaded pass from the centre half into midfield are the ones that I'd be looking to jump on. Let them have the ball, wait for the CB to bring it out and try and make that pass into feet, then spring the press so that when you win possession you've got men over and can get straight in behind while the central defenders are still pushed up and isolated because the wing backs are miles up the pitch waiting for a ball that never comes. 1
Willo of Whiteley Posted yesterday at 10:59 Posted yesterday at 10:59 Danny Rohl looks like a manager dodged 😂
Dr. Kucho Posted yesterday at 11:50 Posted yesterday at 11:50 Martin is a good man manager as the players always seem to like him and say they want to play for him. He’s just a poor tactical manager and to stubborn to adapt his style to beat the opposition. If Leicester have a stronger squad than others next season he can play his possession based game and get them promoted. If others have an equal squad he’ll struggle and ship goals left right and centre. 1

Don't forget sticking a man on the deep lying midfielder. Downes was excellent at it for us under Martin but when he was out injured or suspended we couldn't replace him. Smallbone definitely couldn't play that role and Winks and Skipp will probably move on. 1
