Beeks wasn't the police, that was me messing around years ago saying he was as it was funny all those years ago. His account was shared by a few people (if you remember the guy from Liverpool and special K etc).

Sadly Colbury passed away, lovely guy.

There was another prolific poster, Adrian sfc or similar, I recall he suffered badly with the after effects of Covid and I haven’t seen anything of him in a long while.

FWIW, I was also Monty’s Turban and Saint sausage. It’s fair to say, the moment Granty got a whiff of a banned Crab Lungs resurfacing he’d normally ban me again.

The early 00s were definitely the halcyon days of fuckwittery on the various incarnations of this forum. Had some great nights out with many of the people on here, socialised and played football with others and made some lifelong friends and acquaintances.

Griff (RIP) and Gemmel leading the firemen nights out. B-anter forum. Prick on a stick. The caged tigers (o rly, 28_f). Mr Green. Oh God, the memories. 😭

I can also confirm Gio’s leather pants and vest.

The why we are on a downward spiral thread was a classic as the two season which followed were some of the best we've had. 

Was the catfish you're referring to Amygate of turnstile A folklore?

Thinking about the Yin/Yang of posters, and I accept that it might be time playing tricks with my "Miserableoldmind" but 19 Canteen (19 C) was one of the nastiest posters that I have come across on here. Seemed to have no respect for anybody. On the other hand, Bexter von Doodle seemed to be one of the more decent posters.....
