Britannia Posted 6 December, 2025 Posted 6 December, 2025 Second abandonment of the day at Blackburn.
Turkish Posted 6 December, 2025 Posted 6 December, 2025 Sheffield United starting to cook. Wilder turned it round

That's the second time this season they've had a game abandoned at home due to a waterlogged pitch. They've been winning 1-0 both times as well. Embarrassing for a Championship club but their fans must be fuming.

Heard an Ipswich fan making the point after the last one that they should get the points. Apparently t’s happened in recent seasons as well as local non league teams within around 10 miles being able to complete their games at the same time despite the weather put the blame on Blackburn not having adequate facilities.

Turkish Posted 6 December, 2025 Posted 6 December, 2025 So Leeds take 4 points off the champions of England and the world in a week. Already got more points than we did in the whole of last season It’s impossible to compete in this league

AlexLaw76 Posted 6 December, 2025 Author Posted 6 December, 2025 lol and Liverpool (again) fair play to Leeds there too

JohnnyShearer2.0 Posted 7 December, 2025 Posted 7 December, 2025 Would be good if Villa keep their form for the rest of the season.
Willo of Whiteley Posted 7 December, 2025 Posted 7 December, 2025 Mo Salah effectively saying “sack the manager or you’ll never see me again”. Would be nice for a board to back a manager but this won’t happen for Arne Slot. 1
CB Fry Posted 8 December, 2025 Posted 8 December, 2025 Wolves losing again. The last time they even scored a goal Will Still was our manager.

Wolves seem to just be planning for the championship with Rob Edwards , will be interesting to see if some players leave in January,
OttawaSaint Posted 8 December, 2025 Posted 8 December, 2025 Wolves are absolutely shocking. Far worse than we were last year. Man U did their absolute best to fluff that chance and Wolves still managed to concede. 1
danjosaint Posted 8 December, 2025 Posted 8 December, 2025 Only because Cunha didn't want to score so nearly fucked it up
OttawaSaint Posted 8 December, 2025 Posted 8 December, 2025 Utd are shocking too. 1-1. First goal in over 8 hours for Wolves.
whelk Posted 8 December, 2025 Posted 8 December, 2025 It’s childish but always like hearing ‘Feed the scousers….”
OttawaSaint Posted 8 December, 2025 Posted 8 December, 2025 (edited) Wolves defending is so bad, it's like they've given up completely. They had several chances to clear but just look at each other. Edited 8 December, 2025 by OttawaSaint
AlexLaw76 Posted 8 December, 2025 Author Posted 8 December, 2025 Thankfully for Wolves, their club is the ONLY club Edwards would have left Boro for.. Hiding to nothing for the lad
Willo of Whiteley Posted 8 December, 2025 Posted 8 December, 2025 Rob Edwards will no doubt lose his job at the end of the season, or when they’re inevitably relegated. Nice pay off though!
sockeye Posted 8 December, 2025 Posted 8 December, 2025 Good situation for us. Wolves could alleviate us of the earliest PL relegation record, a title embarrassing even for us.
Winnersaint Posted 8 December, 2025 Posted 8 December, 2025 Wolves look just as bad as us this time last season.
saintant Posted 8 December, 2025 Posted 8 December, 2025 Wolves still without a win and some tough fixtures coming up. They face Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd away before the end of the year. Brentford at home is a must win for them because the longer they go without a win the harder it's going to become. Could they be the first Premier league side to win no matches in a season?

They look so devoid of confidence and direction hard to see where a win will come from, rumours players want to leave, its a downwards spiral that's hard to break, can sympathise with their fans, we know what it's like

I have nothing in particular against Wolves but it's comforting to see another set of fans having to go through the same ordeal as we did last season. I've seen them a few times recently and they really are awful. Bellegarde looks their only potentially PL quality player, the rest of them are terrible. I think they might actually be worse than we were last season. 1

Just like us, they have had years of decline, selling top players and replacing them with inferior ones on the chance they will come good without thinking about the team as a whole - like a Wimbledon to out perform based on the team. 1
East Kent Saint Posted 9 December, 2025 Posted 9 December, 2025 Classic any decent players snapped up by big clubs etc

Charlie Wayman Posted 10 December, 2025 Posted 10 December, 2025 Watching Ipswich v Stoke this evening. Dreadful affair between two very poor sides yet both are ahead of us in the league. Stoke looking all the world like Martin's Saints of old. 1-0 at HT to Ipswich after a worldie strike inside two minutes by their No 10 but otherwise they aren't competing. Stoke have all the possession but mostly in the middle and defensive thirds. Sounding familiar?
Saint NL Posted 11 December, 2025 Posted 11 December, 2025 Champions League team of the week. So did Salisu turn out to be decent in the end?
sockeye Posted 13 December, 2025 Posted 13 December, 2025 Wolves score all three goals in their match against Arsenal... with two of them being own goals, resulting in Arsenal's victory. Feels like it gets mooted every season, but I think Derby's points record may actually be broken this time around. Even we had five points this time last year. Wolves have two.

I think they'll get 15-20 points by the end. They're down, no doubts, they're not getting out of this - but I can't see them finishing below 12 points. They'll have a run of 3 or 4 where they pickup a couple of wins and some draws. We all felt the same last year, I didn't think we'd beat Derby's record but we did - and we were bad! They'll be fine in that sense, they put in a good shift yesterday and competed. Brentford at home next, and West Ham at home in a week or two - they could win both of those, and end up sitting on 8 points by January. Edited 14 December, 2025 by S-Clarke
Lord Duckhunter Posted 14 December, 2025 Posted 14 December, 2025 Sunderland beating Newcastle, getting stuck into them, putting them under pressure. Contrast with our pathetic “ effort” when they were down to 10. They’re certainly busting the nods myth that teams coming up via playoffs can’t compete. Just shows what a complete and utter cock Lego was, trying to outplay sides. 3
AlexLaw76 Posted 14 December, 2025 Author Posted 14 December, 2025 Sunderland won’t be breaking Derby’s record then
