Hey Paul Merson, this PL that is worlds apart from any other league has played 6 CL games this week. 4 defeats and 2 draws, and 3 of them have lost by 3 goals. Love it

Watching the Euro Motd I was impressed by the MLT skills shown by the PSG and Real Madrid scorers , little touch to get the ball behind the Man C keeper and knocking it into the net , little touch to knock the ball up before lobbing the keeper in the PSG goal with no distance to work with . This is what top level European football is all about . Arsenal reverting to the 1-0 to the Arsenal days ! The norwegian team exposing teams from Man City onwards even in there off season is excellent .

I don't mean Arsenal won more the defensive set up to get a 1-0 ! Although htey did have the chances to win .

Hull one of the poorest top six teams I've seen in a long time. Shocking to think we gave them six points this season

Unfortunately hull have got Sheff wed at home next game, so that’s another 3 points further away from them. Dont think we can catch them, it’s only Wrexham now really

We can definitely still catch them. The more teams that get pegged back the better.

We could yes, but it’s very unlikely. I agree they’re not a good side though but somehow grind out results

Good, good. Still tight at the bottom through and they have Aribo to help them.

How long has it been the case that there are only 1 or 2 3PM PL fixtures on Saturday?

Just two today with a further three this evening and four tomorrow.  All of the latter on TV of course.

They play Derby. Tricky one, wouldn't mind them both losing. A draw will do.

Fatawu looked good in one game against us, while Mavadidi looked like he should easily be one of the best in this league.

Toxic place.

Shame Oxford couldn’t hold out today, skates would have been right in it.

Leicester are in serious trouble, thought their win midweek might be th start of something but getting soundly beaten at home to QPR is not a good look. Their fans on foxes talk are pretty funny tbf, some great gallows humour. Have no ill feeling towards them, could easily be us in that situation given the recent mismanagement of our club.

Disagree. We are 6 points off them now with a game in hand. Definitely catchable with this many games left! That result at West Brom today puts our point their in perspective, not such a bad result after all?!

Max Dowman is a bit special.

I heard it on the radio.

But that didn't do justice for the awareness, controlled header and then calmly beating the last man, all in a couple of seconds right after the Everton attack.

It seemed as though he's not only got a good relationship with the other players, but a lot of the staff too. A lovely moment for him and his family.

Yeah that was a good football moment. Maybe we'll get him in on loan when he's out of favour in 2044.

I had a wheezing Jay Robinson return pencilled in for that season. 🙂

He reminds me of when Jack Wilshere first burst on the scene for Arsenal, he looked like he’d be a really special player.

Fair point, he's one of our own so takes priority and will get the crowd excited until we realise his legs have gone.
