disconnect Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Fraser AM? Didnt we try that experiment in pre-season and was not good... Interesting to see young right back Tabares on the bench - how long is Bree going to be out for? Gutted about Fernandes, but maybe just rested...

Nathan Jones tried to warn us… “I’ve compromised certain principles because of, one; personnel, but, two; the way people want to play and so on, because of fans and so on… [but] I’m not going to do that again.”

Kivstgaarden hyped and making his full debut, was potentially a Sargent replacement, but Sargent turned down a move to Wolfsburg I think so not sure whats going on there. 1
AlexLaw76 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Carry on with this 3 at the back nonsense, we will do well to make the playoffs

Osvaldorama Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Buzzing to see what the Ginger Juric pulls out of his arse tonight 2
ButtikonSaint Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) Quote Starting XI: McCarthy, Roerslev, Edwards, Wood, Quarshie, Manning, Downes (c), Charles, Fraser, Archer, Stewart. Subs: Bazunu, Harwood-Bellis, Taylor, Tabares, Sesay, Matsuki, Robinson, Brereton Díaz, Downs. That line up shows where we are. On the negative side : A championship side with an average first 11 incl. a "star" player possibly about to leave, a bench being used for this game that doesn't much impress or inspire and 3 at the back. On the positive side: so far a decent clear-out with a few more days to bring in reinforcement, a couple of academy players (as well as Robinson) on the bench and a manager that has yet to completely lose it. Wade Garrett Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Like the idea of Stewart and Arxher playing as a two, but probably not go we’ll set up. 2
OttawaSaint Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I was promised that Archer and Stewart would be prolific at this level so I'm expecting goals goals goals! 1

If he plays it once we have them then I'll be worried. Yeah maybe if we didn’t have 4 players capable of playing on the wing in the squad tonight, we might actually be able to play a formation with wingers. 1 1

Osvaldorama Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Can’t be many less exciting lineups in the history of football than this 11. Fair play.

Saint Matty 76 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Anyway that’s enough whinging about the lineup. Let’s hope that Stewart and Archer get firing, need at least one of these strikers to bag a goal or two. Thought Archer was a given to be the starter based on preseason.

OnceaSaintalwaysaSaint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Mentioned it before but without wanting to sound panicy, it does concern me that we don't have much of a midfield except Charles and Downes. He's playing those two again because that's all we've got. If either get injured/acquire too many yellow cards, we are properly screwed. 4

Of all our crap forwards, this is my main hope for things to sort of work up front. 2
obelisk Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I'm quite interested to see Archer and Stewart up front. Whether they themselves feel the same I don't know. 1
danjosaint Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago It would be nice to add Brownhill to that midfield 1
Convict Colony Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Not going to watch, would rather dream of Instagram ho's or Armenian No.10s. Win, lose or draw I do not care. not to reflect on still but it's my apathy as as someone suffering from Stockholm syndrome. A feeling I have a lot is that if we win it's not down to good play, a pleasing style , it's more that the other team is shitter than us. any off to dream of jubblies.

He only ends up with us as the 2am lights up emergency minger option.
