I'm not sure how good Watford are, they've signed 9-10 new players this window or something crazy like that. And obviously they have a new manager, that's pretty much par the course. 

Absolutely no idea what to expect from them.

I notice they have Max Allayne on loan from Man City, isn't he the kid they nabbed from us?

Edit: Realised this is very harsh on Wood, who I do ultimately see starting in a back 5 with Manning dropping out.

Not sure why you wouldn't pick Fraser when he's been our best player this season so far? I mean Armstrong has been horrific.

Armstrong hasn’t played in his best position yet, he deserves one chance.

7 points from 4 looks ok going into the derby. Anything less is a really poor start. 
 

We’ve gone behind in all the league games so far and have struggled to make an impact. Hopefully score first this time and control the game like we saw last night, after scoring

Their results have been a defeat at Charlton, a narrow win against a clearly utter shit QPR and a draw at Swansea.

Really we should win this game. We seem to have found our shooting boots, it would be madness to bring in Armstrong and drop one of Stewart/Archer. You'll assume JRob will come back in.

Seeing as how he has been one of our best players, so far, why would you consider it. Although I totally get why we would want to move to that position.

Doubt Still is ditching his preferred defensive formation anytime soon.

I wonder if Edwards could do a job in midfield but I guess too early to try the option.

Whatever the starting line up we do appear to have decent options off the bench plus a possible down the back of the sofa cash to spend in the January window, if we are in contention.

Really need to avoid the Play Offs as this is a lottery.

BUT if we do go up can we bridge the ever increasing gap in quality between the Championship and Prem?

Not sure about that. I think we have just got so used to how he performs that we've become almost blind to his many shortcomings. Sure he probably hasn't had a real howler so far but I'm unconvinced by his defensive abilities.

Finns stats speak are obvious, quality in this league. Plays between the lines and gets into the box. 
 

hopefully new signing will open up the formation when needed, but we need to win like we played in the 2nd half the other night and not shoot ourselves in the foot.

Matty is a fantastic player but wants to leave. It is hard to keep player, more so when their national sides are pressuring them in order to make the World Cup. 
 

his departure will free up space to bring in quality and players who want to be here.

hardest part of the last few days and weeks has been moving house, kind of left it to the wife. Everything else is football and those upstairs will make sure we have a competitive team to what we want to achieve. I need to win the games

bases on last 24 hours I am pretty confident we will have a strong squad, just frustrating to be met with an international break.

we have started Ok, won 3, drawn 1 and lost 1 - like Watford who are a good side with power in the middle and pace in behind. They will want to win.

might be tricky to include new signings on Sat. If they are with us tomorrow they will be included, if not they won’t.

Mads has settled very well and performed well. His physical data after the game was impressive and you can tell he has been working on set pieces with Thomas frank. We have a very good player.

we have an away tie at Anfield, which is pretty cool

Not heresy. I don’t think we will start that way - still the 3cb route for this probably and only Mads for certain should start - but I can see Will giving the two championship based newbies a run out whatever formation used. 
 

Wee Man and Jay might be told to give it full gas up and down and then expect Azaz and Fellows to come on for last thirty as an example.

Louza being out suspended for them is a boost. Massive player in their midfield. 
 

They’ve tended to start games well but fade which is the opposite to us. Can’t see us keeping a clean sheet but hopefully we’ll have more firepower than them to edge it. 2-1 Saints.

Looks like Chakvetadze is still out and recovering from his foot injury too

I can't imagine we'll have wholesale changes tomorrow, interesting times ahead. Shame we couldn't get another game before Pimples to gel a bit. UTS
