Asked a Boro supporting acquaintance about Azaz as he's disappointed me, he said we'll only see best of him when moving ball quickly and he has fast players moving off him, on his own he's quite slow but create chances with right players alongside him

Think we can spot the flaw in that plan them

Fed up with this now. We've been decent in less than 10 games in the last 4 seasons. Fed up of hearing about all the "great lads" in the team who are not good enough whilst better players languish on the bench. Fed up of tactics from CM 2001 - pass out to a winger and get crosses in the box without having a striker who can header the ball in the box! Fed up with XG, Tactical master classes on Sky. Fed up with Sports Republic and clever bollocks signings who "could be the next big pay day". 

When will this purgatory end?!!!

Overall I thought our general play was pretty good. We smothered them and dominated. In the final third there was a lack of quality and guile and I don't know how that will be solved. Fellows looks decent, but he needs a target and Downes hasn't got in the right positions in the box. At the other end we were let down by some pathetic defending of an arial ball. THB can pass but McBernie has him on toast. Sorry, but if you can't do the basics, win headers, you can't play centre back. 

Time to bring in Quarshie for me - hopefully he gets a start against Liverpool so let's see how he copes against Isaac 🙂

 Not an excuse but the first Hull goal is clearly offside. If you freeze play at the moment the Hull guy heads the ball the player who scores is quite clearly ahead of our two defenders. VAR would have ruled that out.

Just watched the “highlights”  …

Bazunu for the first goal, utterly awful,and absolute joke of an effort as shit as we all knew..

Both CB terrible for all goals, terrible, they cannot head the ball FFS

In particular Jack “ridiculous contract “ Stephens ball watching again, an absolutely terrible player and he’s our captain FFS. He couldn’t captain a fucking pedalo on a pond.

Still is either stupid and clueless or picking those 3 is forced in him.

Something has to give or we are in for another miserable and soul destroying season again…

On an awful pitch we did have some good moments but not enough. All 3 Hull goals were a joke - first one is offside to compound Bazunu's mistake, second is a sloppy pass from THB then zero recovery defending and the third is a cheap free kick given away by THB which is swung in with Azaz of all people seemingly designated to mark McBurnie which only ends one way. THB was a disgrace and certainly needs dropping. With Downs we've signed yet another powder puff player.

Yep. You will lose to any level of side if you can’t cope with basic stuff like this. It was embarrassing to watch, the sheer inability to deal with long balls into our box, especially when you think of the money we’ve spent. It’s complete incompetence

First goal was horrific. No pressure on the crosser, feeble aerially, Stephens ball watching rather than staying with his man, bazanu awful weak palm out.

Haven't seen the "highlights" but it looked offside to me when watching live but nobody seemed to mention it and as usual Saints players just meekly accepted it. At least get in the ear of the lino.
